Counselling At Family Life Society, our therapists are committed to
help, affirm, journey with and support all who come to us with difficulties regardless of background, race or religious belief. Apart from focusing on family and marital issues, FLS also offers support on pregnancy crisis related issues
PARA-COUNSELLING We also have a team of lay counsellors known as para-
counsellors. These para-counsellors are volunteers who offer front-line counselling for the community in the heartlands. Para-counselling is a FREE service available at 9 parishes in the Catholic Archdiocese for anyone who needs a listening ear. Call 63820688 from Mondays – Fridays between 10am – 5pm to make an appointment.

The word Retrouvaille (pronounced re-tro-vi with a long i.) is a French word meaning "rediscovery". - offers tools needed to rediscover a loving marriage relationship. Thousands of couples headed for cold, unloving relationships or divorce have successfully overcome their marriage problems by attending the program. - consists of a weekend experience combined with a series of 12 post-weekend topics held over 6 weekly sessions. - provides the tools to help put your marriage in order again. -main emphasis of the program is on communication in marriage between husband and wife. It will give you the opportunity to rediscover each other and examine your lives together in a new and positive way.

3. Family Empowerment Services (FES)Formed in 2009, this supportive arm is part of an integrated core programme to support our Casework & Counselling clients. It is conducted by professional staff through the following:
i) Monthly Life SkillsEquips low income families with coping skills and knowledge on topics such as nutrition, budgeting and employment.
ii) Empowerment & DevelopmentProvides focused life skills for identified groups of clients to respond to the needs of arising issues (i.e. Homelessness)
iii) Project S.T.A.R. Group WorkTherapeutic Group Work programmes help connect individuals/targeted groups in need of support.
iv) H.O.M.EThis home-based mentoring programme targets at-risk families with children below 12 years of age in need of parenting support.
