Art in Public Places SEE REVERSE MAP FOR LOCATIONS The Spartanburg Music Trail winds its way through downtown Spartanburg with signage and an au- dio tour, honoring musicians from the Hub City who have made a national or international mark in the music industry. The first phase of the trail begins in the Grain District and heads toward the Chapman Cultural Center along Main Street, then North Liberty Street. The Music Trail cements Spartan- burg’s legacy as a birthplace of American roots music—in particular, blues, jazz, country, gospel and bluegrass. www.spartanburgmusictrail.com www.spartanburgbcycle.com We were the first city in the Southeast to offer a bike-sharing system, and we’ve steadily ex- panded the system since launching it in 2011. The fifth B-Cycle station in the city was added in August 2014 at the new Harvest Park, home to the Hub City Farmer’s Market. Along with stations at the Mary Black Rail Trail, Morgan Square, and on the campus of Wofford and Con- verse colleges, the Harvest Park station gives Spartanburg nearly 40 bicycles available to rent through daily, monthly or annual memberships. The first hour of every trip is free, with every half hour after that costing a buck.
