ABSTRACT: In this Congress, the SYD, is pleased to present the policy areas that articulate with the Geotourism. We are a multidisciplinary team with decades of experience in training, communication and image engineering. United by the same vision we have created a unique project, where several areas in the same dream come true. SYD's mission lies in the development of entrepreneurial dreams and visions, creating communication solutions, embodied in images, movies and 3D virtualization. We design interactive virtual environments and platforms to support operations and engineering consultancy.

1. GEOTOURISMThe Geotourism is now a key activity for the touristic development of Portugal. More than a
growth industry that can contribute greatly to the national economy is a form of environmental
preservation and cultural need for a country with a rich heritage, so often forgotten or destroyed. The
disclosure is made of a completely different way of promotions for the mass tourism. The geotourists
have interests in ecotourism and environmental awareness that requires a completely different
heritage than has been done.Environmental preservation and dissemination are key areas and cultural determinants.

For a long time, maybe too much, bet on the more or less disorderly mass of information and its
concentration in the transmission and the tourist customer. The paradigm is, however, reoriented.
The tourist, visitor and often citizen who decides to find out where he lives and the space that
surrounds it, should be the main actor, finding the information to his will and attributes of what really
makes you curious. The Geotourism must now respond to a new challenge: to provide unique
experiences directed and designed by the space explorers.

The information should be made in a clear manner, without imposing, respecting the environment
and a way to more interactive as possible. The use of new technologies becomes imperative.
Nowadays we want to select the assets which we navigate through the information and points of
interest by our own directions in virtual courses.

Before we were satisfied with explanations of past, present and future, today we want to do
realistic models of the past, present and future scenarios. The image is allied to the word and explorer
and decides its interactive design experience.
2. SEE YOUR DREAMS CONCEPT
Composed of a multidisciplinary team, the SYD is a group of professionals from different areas
that combine communication and creativity in engineering and technology development. This
complementarity allows us to offer cutting edge solutions complex and comprehensive. The SYD
also has partnerships created during years of work and experience, both in Portugal and other
countries.
Our team of image and creativity has a large number of projects in the area of 3D animation and
illustration, post-production and digital effects and design of layouts for various platforms.
The SYD also includes a set of experts in land information and training, with several international
partnerships with private and academic institutions. In these areas in the recent past has developed a
training and consultancy work on-job in the area of planning, product management and marketing

The importance of location in economic activities, brings the need for entities having a
geographic database updated, reliable and accurate, to minimize errors and disorders depending on
the activity. Currently dominated by the need for any event, buildings, infrastructure or monument,
to know all his surroundings, whether natural or constructed, in order to facilitate any type of
intervention, either as part of rehabilitation, promotion or even the design of a construction project.
In short, the geographic environment is an important factor in planning any intervention in the
territory.
When we join our component imaging technology development, we have developed solutions
ranging from e-learning with augmented reality, designing new ways to reach people and that we can
apply to various markets such as city marketing, tourism and training.
3. CONCLUDING REMARKS
With this we believe that this project is an asset to the geotourism, identifying the latest market
demands. The focus on image and latest technology to advertise any tourist product is synonymous
with innovation and progress in the tourism sector anywhere in the world.
