Founded in Tokyo Japan in 1941, HOYA is a global Med-Tech Company who is a leading manufacturer of optical lenses and coatings. HOYA owns and operates 36 optical labs in the US and many others around the world. HOYA purchased the safety prescription eyewear division from 3M Company in January 2017.

The HOYA Safety Division has operated as a continuous business for over 70 years. After all the changes, we continue to offer dependable service, innovative products and turnkey eye protection programs. We are now poised to offer leading lens designs and materials along with outstanding lens coatings to the safety community through our HOYA connection. Professional Fitting and Dispensing ServicesThe HOYA See Clearly Work Safely Prescription Eyewear program includes complete dispensing services provided by a HOYA partner Eye Care Professional either at their office or at your plant site. Eye Care Professional Locator www.hoyavision.us/safetyrx

The Eye Care Professional will assist employees with proper frame and lens selection, take the necessary optical measurements, place the order with the HOYA Safety Division lab, deliver and adjust the finished safety eyewear, and provide routine adjustments and maintenance. The ECP will also handle any warranty needs.

Eye Exams are not part of this program but are available through most of the HOYA Safety Dispensing Network.

Program OverviewChoice of 3 different programs to fit your safety budget, environment, and workforce needs

Upgrade Options

Optional customer paid package add-on items:

• Photochromic, light changing lenses in gray or brown

• Recharge, HOYA’s high performance AR coating including a blue light filter

• Polarized lenses

Available employee paid upgrades:

• Any of the optional customer paid items can be paid by the employee

• Employees may also upgrade their frame if desired

• HOYA will handle all employee paid transactions directly with the employee at time of order

All programs include:• All lens styles including progressive addition multi-

focal lenses• Choice of Phoenix or Polycarbonate lens material

(Both meet the ANSI Z87 2015 Standard)• Clear or tinted safety lenses• Selection of Pentax safety frames• Permanently attached, integrated, or detachable

side shields• Professional dispensing services at a HOYA ECP office

or your plant facility (Note: On-site dispensing services are limited to larger plant facilities)

A link to the distributor customers custom order form will be created and sent to the customer

HOYA will schedule a training session to show the customer how to use their order form link

Normal turnaround time from order placement to delivery is approximately 2 weeks

All safety prescription eyewear will be shipped to the chosen Eye Care Professional for delivery to the customers employee

Distributor Customer selects their program package

Customer selects their side shield requirement and any customer paid add-on options (note: side shields are

required to be worn for compliance to ANSI Z87.1)

A HOYA Safety Specialist will discuss professional dispensing options with the customer

HOYA will establish an account profile to ensure the customers employees stay within the program guidelines
