Trauma Informed Care (Tier 1&2)

• Training in EBD Center and other school staff– Making the connection between trauma and behaviors– Understanding increase as to needs of students and

families to improve performance– Changes in environment which decreases risk of re-

traumatization of youth in school– Makes connections between seclusion/restraints and

trauma experiences
