Issuance of Tornado Missile Risk Evaluator pilot for Voglte Units 1 and 2

On January 11, 2019, NRR staff issued an amendment to Southern Nuclear Operating Company authorizing implementation of Nuclear Energy lnstitute's Tornado Missile Risk Evaluator (TMRE) methodology at Vogtle Units 1 and 2 (ADAMS Accession No. ML 18304A394). This is the first of three pilot reviews that were submitted to support development of a methodology that could be used by plants to submit risk-informed amendment requests to address legacy tornado missile non-conformances.
