XTRIM was established in 2000. We specialize in production of electronic equipment for shops used to secure goods and support sale. We manufacture wire anti-theft system (security leash) enabling safeguard of products presented on open displays. A wide range of specialized sensors allows the system to secure a wide variety of goods.Besides production we also provide installation services of the manufactured equipment. Our customers are mainly large retail chains of radio & television and household appliances branch.

During the first years of our business activity we have operated only on the domestic market, at present over 80% of our sales is export. Due to many years’ experience we are in the position to offer products fully meeting the expectations of our customers. We are always open to individual needs and suggestions that help us make our products even more useful.

About Us

Structure of anti-theft systemThe system consists of control units connected to sensors adapted to match a specific commodity. The sensors are fastened to the products and most of them are simultaneously clampers enabling for attractive display of the devices. Each event of commodity detachment, sensor disconnection, cut-off or wires shorting results in alarm activaction. A particularly important issue in large stores is prompt localisation of the place of alarm occurrence. Therefore, our control units are equipped with outputs allowing the transfer of alarm signal to an information board usually located in a monitoring room. The data displayed on the board enables for instant response of the security service. This solution significantly improves the safeguard of goods against theft. Apart from protection our anti-theft system allows for power supply and multimedia presentation of the protected devices.

Power system for the secured devicesIn addition to the security function our anti-theft system provides also a possibility to supply power to the secured devices. This enables the customer not only to see the device but also test it. Power is supplied from the control unit to the sensor. Sensors with power supply function are equipped with a socket where a cable is connected matching the presented device. The function is particularly useful when presenting cellular phones, MP3/MP4 players or GPS equipment.

The charging system consists of the following elements:

• AXP, AXP-K, AXPD, AXPD-K series control units• XFP, XFPD, XNP, XNPD, XNSP, XNSPD, XMP, XMPD, XRP, XRPD sensors• charging cable adjusted to the protected device

Multimedia Presentation SystemApart from the standard protection function, the anti-theft system we manufacture additionally has the possibility to display advertisements and multimedia presentation connected with the protected products.

Presentation display function is performed by means of the following equipment:

• control units with presentation function, marked with the letter ‘D’ • sensors with presentation function, marked with the letter ‘D’• a PC with installed XPM XTRIM Presentation Manager application

The system operational principle:

• protected products are placed on appropriate sensors which quarantee constant protection and power supply when necessary

• by means of an additional sensor hidden in the sensor’s case lift of the item by the customer is detected • signal from the control unit is forwarded to a computer in which the XPM application starts the presentation referring

to the lifted product

The XPM XTRIM Presentation Manager application performs the following tasks:

• assigning adequate presentations to protected items.

Presentation files can be stored on local disk or in the net. Presentation display is possible in various formats, among others, PPS, PPT, SWF, PDF, JPG, BMP, AVI, MPEG, FLASH and website. Display of a random presentation when no item is lifted.

• display of the selected presentation after the product has been lifted by the customer• managenent of presentation display when several products are lifted simultaneously • display of a suitable warning in case of alarm occurrence• registering incidents connected with statistics display

Registered are the moment the product is lifted and presentation duration. It enables to create a register of incidents as well as presentation of statistics in a graphic form. During statistics display it is possible to apply filters allowing to display data according to the assigned criterion. Due to the above mentioned functions the application supplies essential information on the customer’s interest in particular products, number of customers visiting a given stand at particular hours and on particular days, etc.

• registering all incidents connected with product protection- induced alarms, control unit on and off switching, AC dump, which allows for more effective product protection

Multimedia Presentation System

Introduction of multimedia presentation system brings numerous advantages:

• continually available for the customer precisely selected information on the product without the necessity to engage the staff

• attractive presentation of the product• effective and low-cost advertisement• possibility to analyze customers’ interest in particular products thanks to the statistics module• increased level of product safety due to incidents register

Control units and accessoriesOur control units are easy to install and configure, simple to operate and friendly to use. Thanks to a wide range of available devices it is easy to configurate the equipment to the requirements of a given installation.

The control units family consists of 8 groups based on a single hardware-software architecture which differ from each other the maximum number of connected sensors and functions.

Our control units have also the following features:

• number of inputs: 4, 8, 16, 24, 32• controlled via radio remote control with a dynamic code • mains supply with emergency rechargeable battery backup• battery operable• optical and acoustic alarm indication • automatic activation which makes it impossible to leave the commodity unprotected• indication of sensor disconnection during stand-by mode off• additional mechanical key• relay output • additional siren output • outputs for monitoring system• digital display output
