Security Personality Disorder
Personality disorder forms a class of mental disorders that can causeserious problems and impairment of functioning for the individual. Itcan cause significant distress and serious problems in personal,occupational and social situations. Personality disorder is oftenmarked by a persistent and rigid pattern of distorted thoughts andbehaviors that deviates from the social norms and expectationsparticularly when relating to others.
Individual with personal disorder often find difficulties in controllingones thinking processes, feelings and desires causing interpersonaldisruptions in human relationship.
The purpose of this article is an attempt to classify personality
disorder under the five dimensional model of KYKO personality profile.
High Security Dimension
High Security/Pragmatic Personality is characterized by a high need,want or desire for safety, order, stability, systems, structure,protection and a life free from stormy seas.
Below is a list of characteristics of High Security/PragmaticPersonality Disorders:
1. Takes extremely low risk in engaging something new2. Panic stricken and dislocated with sudden change in the
environment3. Tend to worry inappropriately about future events4. Preoccupied with the details for fear of making a wrong
decision5. Follow rules, regulations and procedures without questions6. Self-regulate and scheduling ones daily activities to the extent
of being inflexible or rigid7. Shows perfectionism that often interferes with completion of a
task

8. Hoard and keep worthless objects even though they have nomore value
9. Reluctant to delegate responsibility or tasks for fear that others
will screw them up10. Adopt a miserly spending style11. Often nag and fuss over small or trivial matters12. Often live in fear due to imagined worries
Low Security Dimension
Low Security/Adventurous Personality is characterized by a low need,
want or desire for safety, order, stability, systems, structure,protection and a life free from stormy seas.
Below is a list of characteristics of Low Security/AdventurousPersonality Disorders:
1. Failure to conform to social norms and traditions2. Low respect for rules, regulations and lawful behaviors3. Resent being regulated, monitored or controlled
4. Live from day to day and do things spontaneously as they come5. Hardly schedule ones activities or plan ahead ones future6. Reckless and tend to try new experiences even though they are
self-damaging7. Take high risk8. Engage in sensational, thrilling and hazardous activities9. Unconcern over the safety of self and others10. Careless and forgetful11. Tend to procrastinate, delay or postpone
12. Want freedom to do things as they like
