Each team needs to design a system that will include at least one sensor and two ways to alert that there is an intruder (sight, touch, hearing). The more sensors and alarms included the better! Sensors include: photoresistor (light detector), microphone (sound), press switch (touch) Alarms include: whistle chip, speaker, music circuit, space war circuit, alarm circuit, motor (fan), LED light, lamps FIRST: Each member of your group needs to create a scenario for what you are protecting and sketch their design on the back of this paper. Once everyone has finished their sketches, discuss pros and cons to each design. Choose the best design/scenario or combine designs into the group’s final design. SECOND: Complete the design using the Electronic Snap Circuit Kits. THIRD: Draw your schematic on a white sheet of poster paper. Describe what you are protecting and list each of the sensors and alarms you used in your circuit. Also list if your circuit is parallel or a series. You will present your schematic as well as your alarm to the class. The best design as voted by the class will earn bonus points on this project.

SECURITY CIRCUITS

YOUR MISSION: Create a security system using the Electronic Snap Circuit Kits. Each team needs to design a system that will include at least one sensor and two ways to alert that there is an intruder (sight, touch, hearing). The more sensors and alarms included the better!

Sensors include: photoresistor (light detector), microphone (sound), press switch (touch)

Alarms include: whistle chip, speaker, music circuit, space war circuit, alarm circuit, motor (fan), LED light, lamps

FIRST: Each member of your group needs to create a scenario for what you are protecting and sketch their design on the back of this paper.
