Coastal Surveillance System

Detection, monitoring, and situational awareness give customers the vision to develop strategic and tactical responses to critical security threats. Cambridge provides customized surveillance systems designed specifically for the environmental and risk conditions of our clients. For one allied nation, Cambridge took on the uniquely challenging ecological circumstances and high-risk diplomatic conditions to design, install, and sustain a coastal surveillance system.

The Cambridge surveillance system provides the customer with a comprehensive maritime situational awareness and command and control capability. It includes five new maritime surveillance sensor sites, upgrades to the client’s existing sites, and a new regional command center. By fusing sensors, including X-band and S-band surface search radar and infrared and electro-optical range cameras, the client was able to have expanded situational awareness across an environmentally demanding landscape.
