• Is it when you are full? • Is it when you have to unlatch your belt

• They eat when the hunger is no longer present in their bodies.

• They eat up to a feeling of nothingness, just like when you are done using the bathroom. It’s the SAME feeling.

• With each bite, ask “Am I still Hungry?”• Do I like the food I am putting into my

body?• What do I enjoy about it: the tastes,

textures, spices?• Slow down, relax, take a deep breath.

Dealing With Emotional Eating

Emotional Eating Strategy #1: Timer

• Set a timer for 30 minutes.• Give yourself permission to eat after the

timer goes off.

• Start writing feelings, thoughts, or anything else freely.

• Let your pen write without judgment to get to the bottom of what you are really wanting.

when you’re losing weight, I find people want to look and feel even better so that’s when exercise comes into play.

• I tried to find one reason why I shouldn’t exercise, there isn’t one.

• Naturally thin people exercise in a way where it’s fun and exciting…not a chore .
