Welcome To Annunciation Parish, The Roman Catholic Community of Newington
Whether you are a long-time parishioner, a returning parishioner, a new parishioner, or a visitor, welcome to our
community. We are glad that you are here and hope that you feel at home. If you are not already a member of our
parish, please consider joining us. If you are a member of our parish already, please consider joining one of our

The Catholic Church welcomes new members of all ages. Children are welcomed into our faith through the
sacrament of Baptism. Adults can either join our faith, or complete their sacraments of initiation through our
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) or our Adult Confirmation program. If you are interested in any of
these programs, please contact Deacon Jim Tanguay at [email protected],
or call (860) 666-1591, ext. 3.

The 2020 Church calendars are available at the entrances of the church. These
calendars are beautiful and inspiring. Each month features religious masterpieces of
art from the 14th through 20th centuries, from galleries around the world. I would like
to extend our sincere thanks to our neighbors and friends at the Duksa Family Funeral
Homes for once again providing our calendars.
DALY NOTES

THANK YOU FROM THE KNIGHTS
A sincere thank you to all that supported
the Knights of Columbus Breakfast on
November 17th.
We are happy to report that we raised
approximately $630. It will be split between
Annunciation Parish and “Vocations for
Priests”. The funds from Vocations are used
to sponsor Seminarians. This year the
Knights sponsored two Seminarians – Deacon
Anthony Federico (ordained to the priesthood
June 22nd), & Seminarian Joseph MacNeill,
born and raised in Newington, and currently
studying in Rome!
Please pray for vocations and thank you for
supporting our activities that allow us to
make donations to this very worthy cause.
