Every cadet tested passed and earned the CPR certification.

This is the second time cadets have been CPR Certi-

fied. A few years ago, JROTC established a cycle of certify-

ing either CPR or Community Emergency Response Team

Training every other year. Next year, we will complete the

CERT Certification, and in two years we will again certify in

CPR. Hopefully the cadets will never have to use what they

have learned, but it’s a good thing to know.

“If you believe it, you can achieve it!”

the PT team consists of:

Braden O’Kelley, Todd

Burns, Andres Rivera,

Alex Cordova, Kaitlyn

Radats, and Martha Eva-

nauskus. The Unarmed

Squad IDR consisted of

Michael Klich, Ehson Umrani, Ciara Furlong, Alexis Perez,

Shaun West, Rebecca Robertson, Ashton Goodpaster, Lean-

dra DeFrier, James Madson, Jared James, and Taylor Pilip-

iak. All of the cadet who participated in the event did a fan-

tastic job and gave it their all. Congratulations to all the ca-

dets who participated in any portion of this event.

that 1SG Marshall and LTC

Buhmann chose me.”

Outside of school

Alan makes fishing lures

and sells them for charity.

He works at the Apple Or-

chard and has a veterinary

internship at Hobart Animal

Clinic. Alan is a senior at

Hobart.

Our Cadet of the

Second Quarter is Cadet

Sergeant Martha Eva-

nauskas. She is a sopho-

more. “Martha earned Cadet

of the Quarter because she

is a great

student

with an

awesome

attitude.

She is

always

positive,

gives her

best and never complains”,

stated LTC Buhmann. She

is well known among her

peers for being very depend-

able and always having a

great attitude..

Martha strives to do

her best no matter what she

is doing. In her spare time

she enjoys playing with her

dog and hanging out with

her friends.

Congratulations to

the both of you!
