Excellent comfortDAF CF series vehicles are used in a wide variety of applications, including distribution, construction transport and municipal services – on motorways, construction sites or even bumpy off-road tracks. Whatever the conditions, the best seating comfort is required to create a healthy and safe working environment. In close conjunction with the seat manufacturer, DAF developed a state-of-the-art seat programme, which offers the driver everything he could have asked for.

Four different executions of the air suspended seat offer excellent comfort combined with ergonomic, intuitive function control. All seats feature an integrated head restraint, a three-point seatbelt, ample adjustment of the seating position, pneumatic lumbar support and - depending on the seat type - two-step heating of the seat cushion and back rest.

A comfortable workplace, hour after hourOnce adjusted to his personal preference, the driver will instantly find the same comfortable position again and again, without the need of readjustment – essential in distribution-like applications. New materials for the upholstery have carefully been selected, not only for the highest comfort, but also for their fouling and cleaning qualities. Breathing fabrics are backed by a thick moisture-absorbing layer to maintain an optimum microclimate and preserve the highest comfort throughout the day.

The Xtra Leather Air seat has a prestigious, two-tone, full leather upholstery with stylish double stitching accents, which perfectly matches with the Exclusive interior trim of the cab. This seat may be combined with the Exclusive leather finish steering wheel.

Intuitive controlErgonomic control was a major requirement in the design phase. Large controls are logically arranged in such a way that they can be easily found and their functions can hardly be mistaken.

Adjustable arm rest at the inner side.An adjustable arm rest at the inner side of the driver seat is optional. As even in the folded position this arm rest impairs easy reach of the gear shift lever, it is not recommended for manual gearboxes in application that involve frequent gear shift.The optional arm rest at the inner side of the Xtra Leather Air driver seat is supplied with a leather cover.The Xtra Leather Air driver seat may be combined with the Exclusive leather finish steering wheel.
