SOUTHERN FRANCE

WESTERN FRANCE

The western coast, from the Loire valley to the Pyrénées, is milder and summer days are generally very hot. The Western France is affected by the Atlantic. Consequently, it has a changeable, maritime climate like that of the UK. This area of the country experiences relatively mild winters with very infrequent frost and snow. Rainfall tends to be fairly evenly spread throughout the year.

EASTERN FRANCE

The area of east is an imaginary line running between Lille, Paris and Lyon, experiences a mid-latitude, continental climate. This means winters tend to be cold with frequent snow and frost particularly along the eastern border. Rainfall is even throughout the year but generally annual rainfall totals are low. Thunderstorms are common during the warm summers, especially in the south of the area towards the Jura mountains.

CENTRAL FRANCE

Central France, It enjoys a temperate climate that is heavily influenced by the Atlantic Ocean. This mean all four seasons but no real extremes of temperature and regular rainfall year-round. Summers are warm to hot, but in comparison to other parts in the region they are fairly mild. The surrounding area is made up almost entirely of highlands; as a result the conditions are much milder and damper than other parts of France.

L’ete saisson Summer is traditionally associated with hot dry weather, but this does not occur in all regions. In areas of the tropics and subtropics, the wet season occurs during the summer. The wet season is the main period of vegetation growth within the savana climate regime.Where the wet season is associated with a seasonal shift in the prevailing winds, it is known as a monsoon.

Printemps SaissonSpring is one of the four temperate seasons, the transition time between winter and summer. Spring and "springtime" refer to the season, and also to ideas of rebirth, renewal and regrowth. The specific definition of the exact timing of "spring" varies according to local climate, cultures and customs. At the spring equinox, days are close to 12 hours long with day length increasing as the season progresses.

En AutumnAutumn is at war with the rain. The Autumn-win

dispels the clouds in the sky. The sunny weather of Autumn wipes off the footprints of the rainy season. The muddy paths are dried up. Bogs and swamps

are no more seen. The marshy-land gets dried and ditches are dried too. Gutters are dried up. Water in ponds and rivers is no more muddy. The

mud in the water goes down unto the beds and the water looks clear and blue. It is transparent.
