COLTS and the U16 18s Academy

AcademyThe launch of the u16-18s Academy is an important step to returning the supply of Colts’ players in to the senior section – a valuable source of players for a club in a small population catchment area. The senior men will work closely with the Academy, including integrating u18s into the senior training and match squads once individually assessed as competent and safe to do so.

Jonny King has been appointed as the Head of the Academy, having previously run the ‘Mad Dog’ programme locally, and he is working with our Director of Rugby and others to set out the programme for the coming year.
