Searching Credo Reference
The results list will tell you how many hits your search returned.
You will see the entry that you searched in bold and beside it the Reference work that the entry comes from.
Additionally, each item tells you how many words make up the entry. If you’re looking for more than a definition, you’ll want something longer that say, 50 words!
Use this feature to find books on this topic in the library catalog!
Searching Credo Reference
Use the options in the left hand sidebar to narrow your search.
Refine by subject, entry type, media, and more.
If you are searching for a person you many encounter a situation where more that one person has the same name.
Use the ‘Person’ limiter to choose the correct person- birth and death dates are listed which helps identify persons.

Here, in the left sidebar, there are ‘Related Entries’ that help to further refine your search
