We collaborated with the Search for Energy team to create an icon that we felt truly represented the brand and founders as a whole. After multiple iterations, we arrived at the ‘lightning bolt’ - a true representation of their boldness and passion towards the industry.

CLAY DAVIS - PRESIDENT MICHAEL ALEGRE - CO-FOUNDER, TECHNOLOGY

AXIOM COMMODITY GROUP

Clay has more than 20 years of experience in establishing, growing, and managing

energy brokerage operations. As an original partner in the Amerex Group of

Companies, Clay helped grow Amerex into a full service brokerage company

providing market liquidity nationally for natural gas and electrical power distribution

hubs. Additionally, Clay oversaw the development of an acclaimed environmental

commodities practice including RECs, SOX, NOX, and HGA/HGB certificates. In

2004, Clay helped found and lead the retail brokerage division until he stepped

down as President in 2012.

Michael has over 8 years of experience in the energy industry. Michael has a

B.S. in computer engineering from the University of Houston. He has worked

as an information, systems, technology, and infrastructure consultant for energy

companies both in the Houston area and around the world. Additionally, Michael

has consulted for a number of retail energy companies, helping them to build out

their IT systems and processes.

Founded in 2006, Axiom Commodity Group has a major presence in the natural

gas, petroleum, power, biofuels, and grains markets. Axiom is a leading provider

of wholesale physical and financial brokerage services. With offices in Houston,

Chicago, Overland Park, and Calgary, Axiom sets the standard for providing

transparency, liquidity, and deal execution services in the energy and agricultural

commodity markets.
