2. Undergraduate student team won four top awards at NASA Design Showcase held on April 26, 2016 in Houston, TX, for their project on “Mars Habitat and Initial Settlement Village”, 2016.

3. Undergraduate and graduate students demonstrated “Deployable Communications and Incident Command System for Emergency Response and Disaster Recovery” at the Global City Teams Challenge Exhibition, in Austin, TX, organized by NIST on June 13, 2016.

4. Graduate student was selected as a runner-up in a national competition organized by NYC Media Laboratory and received $3000 award for the project “Automated Highlight Extraction from Baseball Video”, 2015.

5. Undergraduate and graduate student team demonstrated “Aerial Base Station” during the Global City Teams Challenge summit organized by the National Institute of Standards and technology (NIST) on June 1st, 2015 in Washington DC.

6. Undergraduate student teams were recognized in NASA Design Competitions held in Spring 2014, Fall 2014 and Spring 2015.

7. Undergraduate student’s Android application “ReAPPbilitation” won first place in AT&T Hack-a-Thon held on Feb 2012.

8. Eagle Feather – awarded to the Department of Electrical Engineering for the project on the “Design of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle” in 2010.
