PSALMS 2 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath

is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.

LUKE 22 47 And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas,

one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with

a kiss?

Mark 1232 And the scribe said unto him, Well,

Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and

with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt

offerings and sacrifices.34 And when Jesus saw that he answered

discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after

that durst ask him any question.

How that he knows that that arm is around him is absolutely his.

The kiss that's on his cheek is from real pure holy heart, that just loves

him and him alone.

E-49 Now, in the beginning they were one. God, when He made man, He made

him a dual person, both male and female. He separated him in flesh and

put him here on earth in flesh, and the female part was still in spirit. Look, friends. God was so careful. Oh, how this... Don't let it leave you. God never got a handful of dust and made a Eve.

She'd been a different creation; and she's not a creation; she's a byproduct.


And God goes over in the heart of Adam, this rib right out from under his heart,

and takes a rib and makes the wife; and the very part of Adam's spirit was in the woman, and they two are one.

Soul, body, spirit, they are one. They are perfect oneness, a real

woman and a real husband, a real wife. They are one together.


What is it a type of? Christ. From out of his bosom, not a byproduct, not a

Methodist, or a Baptist, or a Pentecostal hatch up... No, sir. But out of His own

heart, He took the sweetheart that's as pure and loyal as she can be.

She's as loyal as a lily.


And when the real believer opens his arms with a pure heart and holds up to Christ, that affection of that lover of Christ, goes into his bosom as His

wife, just like the husband does to a real wife.


E-50 What type of person should we be? Are we playing the harlot with

Christ? Are we depending on some little something and running after the world,

and the things of the world, and worldly-minded and not that real love and

devotion that we should have?

...it doesn't satisfy that longing that a man would have for his

wife.

It's a burning Judas hypocrite kiss.


E-51 Think of these things; there's a revival coming up now. See? Oh, you

might have the wedding ring on. That's right. But you're not a wife. Oh, you

might be a woman; you might be a lady of the house; but you're not a wife if you

act like that. And you're not a real Christian; you're not a real genuine product for Christ if you don't love Him and everything that you've got

within you.


That's when you two become one. That's when Christ and His Church, not by

denomination, not by baptism, not by sensations, not by nothing but by a real love... You were bought from the bosom

of God when He was wounded there, and He bought you, and your love and your trueness and your loyalty

proves what you are.

I admire her because her loyalty, her virtue.

It's the virtue of our loyalty and our love to Christ, and that's the

birth.

All of her lovings and everything is to her husband and him alone.

...but if that real genuine, real Christian virtue isn't there to

Christ, you become as a sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal.


Paul was warning his church of this, the Corinthian church, which it was all mixed up in all kinds of fantastics. I'm warning

you, friends; remember I will have to answer for you there at the day of

judgment and your blood won't be upon me. No matter how loyal you are to anything else, be loyal to Christ.

245 Jesus wants to be kissed. There's a Scripture in the Bible, said, "Kiss the Son, 'lest He be angry." That's right.

Jesus wants to be kissed. Did you ever kiss Him? Sure, you can.

Said, "I'm out here," said, "I'm

so sick and tired of that fancy

going-on of the city in Chicago and so forth." Said, "I--I come out here to hunt me a wife."

And said, "You just meet that

specification."

That's about the way I felt one night

when I got a invitation to come

to the wedding supper. "Want

me? a man like me would--would

have an invitation to

come to the Lord Jesus?"

And you remember when the Lord put that kiss on your

heart, how you felt? Oh, my. Oh, kissed away all my sins, and all

my sorrows, and... He--He just made something

different.

E-57 Now, this little girl, she got ready. She didn't care what... They

laughed. Let them laugh if they want to. But she knowed that that kiss that

night meant a seal. And so did I, so do you, and every one that had that kiss of

the Lord Jesus, that give you the promise, you know what it means.

You don't care what the world says. If your cousins wants to make fun of you

and say, "You've lost your mind, and you're old fashioned," just go ahead;

that's all right. Make her no different, she just kept getting ready.

down to meat. 37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that [Jesus] sat at meat in the

Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,

Oh, you'll never know what it means till once you've kissed the Son. Kiss the

Son, make Him welcome into your heart.

How I would've loved to have entertained Him, to take in my basin of

water, when I knowed that He was setting there.

He was just an entertainment, something to make the people gape and

look upon.

...and she spotted my Lord setting in the corner with unwashed feet, setting

unwelcome amongst the rich. It was too much for her. She said, "No, I'm

sure that's Him."

LUKE 7 38 And stood at his feet behind

[him] weeping, and began to wash his feet

with tears, and did wipe [them] with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed

[them] with the ointment.

LUKE 7 44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this

woman? I entered into thine house,

thou gavest me no water for my feet:

but she hath washed my feet with tears, and

wiped [them] with the hairs of her

head.

LUKE 7 45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this

woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.

46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my

feet with ointment. 47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her

sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is

forgiven, [the same] loveth little.

48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

For all this, and all she had, she laid all of her glory down, all of her money down, everything she had, and had

put--spent everything she could on Him.

She never just held any back; she poured it all on His feet.

God help us tonight to get--and lose ourself away from our self-styled

starchy ideas and find Jesus Christ and love Him.
