The barge is particularly suited for deeper wa- ters and high tidal range sites due to its 73 m long legs. The offshore crane on board is a 400T SWL being capable of installing low to medium sized foundations and larger turbines. With air cooled jacking and auxiliary engines, SEA WORKER is also able to operate on sites that dry out at low tide. A2SEA has carried out major upgrade work on the barge since taking ownership in 2008 with the state of the art leg penetra- tion water jetting system proving extremely effective on sites with more challenging jacking conditions.
