Health and safety

A vital aspect of our attitude to the importance of the customer and to our role in the provision life support

is the necessity to focus on health and safety. Daily Checks are made on kitchens and stores to ensure

Municipality standards are maintained

The company provides training with focus on health, safety and follows strict restrictions throughout all

stages of food preparation, transportation and servicing.

Food Handling Technique: 1.Only use potable water 2.Wash hands frequently 3. Ensure excellent standard of personal hygiene 4. Keep work station clean 5. Store rubbish carefully in covered bins

Food storage: 1. Cool, dry, well lit and ventilated rooms 2. Cover all foods 3. Do not store open cans of the food in the fridge 4. First in first out policy should be used 5. Do not leave the fridge door open for longer than necessary

6. Keep fridge clean

Cleaning: 1. Legal requirement to keep premises and equipment clean 2. Use detergent and disinfectant to clean dirt and bacteria 3. Follow a cleaning schedule 4. Have clean cleaning equipment 5. Never store the chemicals in food room. Wear the required protective clothing and equipment

Personal Hygiene 1. All foods Handlers to be clean and tidy, wearing the required protective clothing and headwear 2. Hair & nails clean and short 3. Use disposable gloves as & when necessary 4. Wash hands regularly 5. No smoking in food rooms

Appearance of waiters: 1. Good grooming and clean presentation 2. Jewellery worm by service staff should be kept to minimum.

3. Uniform should be well tailored. 4. A waiter uniform is often designed according to the dcor of the place 5. Staff should understand that well pressed uniform is important for customers
