DescriptionBy installing the SD Memory Card for VoIP Encryption (KX-NCPS01/KX-TDES01/KX-TDES61) in the IPCMPR/IPCEMPR card of the PBX, all voice packets sent through the IPCMPR/IPCEMPR card are encrypted to prevent unauthorised access on a private IP network.

Therefore, all IP telephones connected to the IPCMPR/IPCEMPR card, and the other PBX on a private IP network must be VoIP encryption compatible.

ConditionsWhen using the SD Memory Card for VoIP Encryption, the following conditions must be met:

• Only KX-NT300 series IP-PTs are connected to the IPCMPR/IPCEMPR card.

• All PBXs on the private IP network are KX-NCP500/KX-NCP1000/KX-TDE100/KX-TDE200/KX-TDE600 with an SD Memory Card for VoIP Encryption installed.

• Only the H.323 protocol is used for IP trunk calls through the IPCMPR/IPCEMPR card.

IMPORTANTConversations cannot be established when the network structure does not meet the conditions above.

<Encryption Compatible Network Example>

CAUTION• The SD Memory Card poses a choking hazard. Keep the SD Memory

Card out of reach of children.

• In order to avoid possible corruption of data on the SD Memory Card, please ensure that the "SD ACCESS" LED is off before pressing the Reset Button.

• The SD Memory Card contains software for all the processes of the PBX and all customer data. It can be easily removed and taken away from the PBX by a third party. Therefore, do not allow unauthorised access to prevent data leakage.

• To prevent data leakage, render the SD Memory Card physically unusable before disposal.

3. Turn on the power to the PBX.

4. While the RUN indicator is flashing, slide the System Initialise Switch back to the "NORMAL" position.

B. When the PBX is already installed (with the SD Memory Card included with the PBX installed)When there are existing PBX system files (programme files, data files and activation key files) on the SD Memory Card included with the PBX, it is possible to copy the files to the SD Memory Card for VoIP Encryption using the Maintenance Console. This allows you to keep the same settings as before.

Note

It is assumed that you have already backed up the setting files of the current SD Memory Card on the PC using the Maintenance Console.

1. Turn off the power to the PBX.

2. Remove the current SD Memory Card from the SD Memory Card slot of the IPCMPR/IPCEMPR card.

3. Install the SD Memory Card for VoIP Encryption in the SD Memory Card slot of the IPCMPR/IPCEMPR card.

4. Slide the System Initialise Switch to the "SYSTEM INITIALIZE" position.



5. Turn on the power to the PBX.

6. While the RUN indicator is flashing, slide the System Initialise Switch back to the "NORMAL" position.

7. Connect to the PBX using the Maintenance Console.

8. Transfer the backed-up system data file on the PC to the PBX.

a. From the Utility menu, select File Transfer PC to PBX (SD Card).

The Open dialogue box will be displayed.

b. Select the system data file from the list of files.

c. Click Open.

The file will be transferred to the SD Memory Card as the backup system data file (DBSYS_S/DMSYS_S/DGSYS_S). A message will be displayed when the transfer is complete.

d. Click OK.

9. Set the transferred system data file to be the active file.

a. From the Utility menu, point to System Reset and then click Reset by the Command.

b. Select Skip to continue without backing up current data to the SD Memory Card.

c. Select Use Replace File for DBSYS/DMSYS/DGSYS and Keep Present File for PBMPR/PMMPR/PGMPR.

d. Click OK.

A confirmation screen will be displayed.

e. Click OK.

CUIDADO• La tarjeta de memoria SD puede provocar asfixia. Mantenga la tarjeta de

memoria SD fuera del alcance de los niños.• Para evitar posibles danos irreparables de los datos de la tarjeta de

memoria SD, compruebe que el LED "SD ACCESS" este apagado antes de pulsar el pulsador de reinicio (RESET).

• La tarjeta de memoria SD contiene todo el software necesario para el funcionamiento normal de la central así como todos los datos del cliente. Terceras personas podrían extraer dicha tarjeta de memoria de la central con facilidad y llevársela consigo. Por lo tanto, para evitar este posible hecho no permitir el acceso a la central a ninguna persona no autorizada.

• Para evitar el robo de la información contenida en la tarjeta de memoria SD, destruya la tarjeta antes de tirarla.

iniciación del sistema hacia la Posición "NORMAL".

B. Cuando la central ya está instalada (con la tarjeta de memoria SD incluida en la central instalada)Si la tarjeta de memoria SD incluida en la central dispone de archivos de sistema de central (archivos de programa, archivos de datos y archivos de la clave de activación), podrá copiar los archivos en la tarjeta de memoria SD para codificación VoIP utilizando la Consola de mantenimiento. De esta forma, podrá mantener los mismos ajustes.

Nota

Realice antes una copia de seguridad de los archivos de configuración de la tarjeta de memoria SD actual en el PC utilizando la Consola de mantenimiento.

memoria SD de la tarjeta IPCMPR / IPCEMPR.3. Instale la tarjeta de memoria SD para codificación VoIP en la ranura de

4. Deslice el Conmutador de iniciación del sistema hacia la posición "SYSTEM INITIALIZE".

Se visualizará el cuadro de diálogo Abrir.b. Seleccione el archivo de datos del sistema de la lista de archivos.c. Haga clic en Abrir.

El archivo se transferirá a la tarjeta de memoria SD como archivo de datos del sistema de seguridad (DBSYS_S / DMSYS_S / DGSYS_S). Cuando la transferencia se haya completado, se visualizará un mensaje.

f. Haga clic en Aceptar.Los archivos de datos del sistema activos y de la copia de seguridad se intercambiarán y la central se reiniciará.
