Credits AvailableCCEP allows students to earn: College credits in one or two dual courses High school credit for each college course passed Two secondary Co-op credits

College Course Timelines Congregated courses are typically 45 hours Some integrated courses are longer (e.g., computer programming) Three hours per week for 15 weeks
Co-op Timelines• 3 weeks of pre-placement classes - 3 hours/day• Integration class every second Friday am or pm after co-op placements start• Co-op placement reflects students career interests
WCDSB Teacher Role – Co-op•Teach the co-op pre-placement and develop a 5-month calendar for each student• To assess and find co-op placements• Teach integration lessons bi-weekly• Monitor students
WCDSB Teacher Role – College Course
Provide support - enhance language & writing skills
Review study & note-taking skills with students
Communicate/Advocate with college professors
Requirements for CCEP Program Have 26/27 secondary credits with compulsory credits completed (or have a plan) Enroll in the entire 3 or 4 credit package Demonstrate a mature attitude and commitment to completing the OSSD
