• For safety reasons you should always dive with a “Buddy” who stays near by at all times

Managing to keep calm in what the brain perceives is a life threatening situation is an good training that you can take back to your job and daily business.

In a situation like this it is very important to stay calm and to take your time to objectively think your way through this stressful situation.

Occasionally Divers experience moments of disorientation as a result of strong currents, rough seas or darkness.

Relieves Stress

• Generally diving leads to lower stress levels as a result of reduced sensory input (think: sounds are quieter, motions are slower, etc.)

• While diving you should breathe in and out slowly in a controlled manner which also improves your circulatory and respiratory system.

• Personally diving helps me to tune out, which makes it a great hobby to keep your work life balance right.
