Fish is a staple of Scotland coming from the lochs, streams, river and magnificent coastline. Fish and seafood are plentiful and Scottish salmon is world-renowned as are Arbroath Smokies (smoked haddock).

Haggis
It is a savoury pudding containing sheep’s heart,
liver and lungs, minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices
and salt, traditionally encased in the sheep’s
stomach, although nowadays most haggis is prepared in a sausage casing. It is served
with neeps and tatties (turnip and potato).

Scones are perfect for breakfast or an afternoon snack. Versions with sultanas or cheese for some variety are served hot and buttered or with clotted cream and jam.
