APRIL 18: Graham Hill Water Treatment Plant Tour Join Water Director Rosemary Menard to tour the water treatment facility and see recently improved treatment infrastructure. 10:30am-12:00pm, ages 10+. APRIL 22: Earth Day Visit the Santa Cruz County Water Conservation Coalition booth to hear about what’s new at each local water district, as well as how you can save water and money. APRIL 29: Loch Lomond Native Tree & Plant Identification Join lake rangers and staff for this fun and informative “loch walk” to learn about the flora that abounds at Loch Lomond Recreation Area. 11:00am-1:00pm, $6 park entry fee. MAY 17: Beltz 12 Well & Water Treatment Facility Tour Join Water Department engineers to hear about the City’s groundwater program and how Beltz 12 could be used in aquifer storage and recovery (ASR). 10:30am-12:00pm.
