Scope of Work – WAD 02 & 03

1. General Description of the Works

The Work under this Subcontract (“Works”) consists of the provision of all management, administration, supervision, labour, plant, equipment and temporary and permanent materials required to safely carry out the construction of the Northern Bus Layover along Windsor Rd and Schofields Road Turning Bay Extension. All works shall be carried out in accordance with the Subcontract Drawings and Specifications, including all RMS, The Hills Shire Council (WAD 2), Blacktown City Council (WAD 3) Specifications and all other relevant Standards and Laws. Georgiou will provide its Safety, Quality and Environmental Plans for reference and the Subcontractor must provide their own bespoke plans for this Project. The Subcontractor shall undertake all tasks necessary for the proper performance of the Works in accordance with the directions of Georgiou including but not limited to the following:

2. WAD 02 – Norther Bus Layover (Separable Portion 1)

a. General

(a) provide for site establishment including site facilities and amenities, including notice boards, site

offices, crib, lunch rooms, change rooms, toilets, and all other required site facilities, including

connection of temp utility services for site (power, water, comms, sewer/pump outs)

(b) The Subcontractor shall establish the site according to the “laydown area map” provided (see

information documents

(c) provide for all necessary temp fencing outside the direct work area as required, including for

appropriate pedestrian management

(d) Provision for traffic management activities, traffic controllers, signage and the like, including to

undertake all arrangements and liaison with RMS, Traffic Management Authority, Council and

other relevant Authorities, in the approval process for traffic management plans and ROL’s (Road

Occupancy Licences) including for but not limited to:

Removal of existing line marking to facilitate all construction staging required

Provide all temporary road signage where existing road signage may be removed or

otherwise not conforming to visible line of sight.

Supply and Installation of temporary line marking

Placement of barriers accepted for use by RMS to provide exclusion to worksite and public

road users

Pedestrian management

Road auditing and reporting

(e) All environmental control as required including sedimentation control for stipped areas / stockpiles

and the like, dust control (including along access tracks to laydown areas) and the like;

(f) All environmental controls; including sediment controls; and protection of trees within the works

vicinity that are to remain

(g) Management of stockpiles, including management of stockpile erosion, drainage and sediment

control;

(h) resource the works according to programme.

(i) provide to up-resource and undertake any out-of-hours work necessary to meet the programme

accordingly;

(j) allowance (including time) to supply all relevant notifications to RMS and or Council as applicable;

(k) provide to adequately keep roads clean from mud and dirt and always to be maintained. Clean,

tidy and sweep footpaths and roads that are effected by the works;

(l) provide to location and protection of all existing services prior to commencement and during the

construction; (identify, locate and peg out all local underground services.)

(m) provide for submission, amendments and gain approval for Georgiou Permits to Excavate.

(n) allow for all nominated hold points and lead times as per the documentation.

(o) provide for all survey, including set-out and establishment of control, progress reporting, and as

built survey drawings.

(p) provide to dis-establish and make good all areas on completion of the works.

(q) provide for all site general waste: handling, removal, reporting and associated costs.

(r) review the Georgiou dilapidation report for all areas relevant to the Works and report any

additional dilapidation issues prior to starting the works that may otherwise be required for making

good following the Works.

(s) Provide for all other administrative works in support of meeting attendance, availability for audit,

provisions of quality documents, and the like all as may be determined as deliverable under the

RMS-Sydney Metro Works Authorisation Deed, except for that relating to the permanent design

elements.

b. Clearing & Demolitions

(a) clearing and grubbing of site (b) removal and disposal footings, fences, pipes, pits, concrete, rubbish, debris, (c) remove and disposal of all trees nominated for removal (d) provide for loading out, dumping, and waste reporting of the above. (e) Demolition of pavement including disposal of material off-site, including asphalt, concrete kerb,

gutter and footpath, and any existing structures including drainage pits and pipes, and reinstate

verge to match adjacent surfaces.

c. Topsoil

(a) strip topsoil to an average depth of 200 mm from site regrading areas or tail out drains and place

in stockpile on site;

(b) strip topsoil to an average depth of 200 mm from areas of roads, footpaths, berms and batters

place in stockpile on site;

(c) on completion of the Works, replace, spread, compact and trim topsoil in accordance with RMS

specifications to formed footpaths, berms, batters and site regrading areas. Topsoil testing to be

complaint to relevant RMS specifications

(d) where there is a deficiency of site won topsoil, imported topsoil is to be complaint to the RMS

specifications and approved prior to placement.

d. Site Regrade

(a) cut to fill in ALL CLASSES of material (solid in-situ measurement). Include place and compact to

profiles required for all works including for verges, footpath and road box out.

(b) all excess material that cannot be incorporated into the works as RMS complaint fill is to be

disposed offsite

e. Drainage

(a) excavate drainage trenches (in all classes of material). (Solid in-situ measurement). Cart surplus

to regrade area, spread and compact to profile. Cart surplus to stockpile;

(b) provide for all necessary battering, shoring or the like for (deep) trench excavation where required.

(1m vertical, 1m battered rise, unless otherwise approved). Maintain all traffic & construction loads

in designing shoring /angle of repose in batters.

(c) provide physical protection to excavation.

(d) supply, bed, lay, joint and backfill rubber ring jointed RC pipes “all classes” to required

specification;

(e) supply, place and compact additional approved granular backfill material in drainage trenches

under pavements and extending behind kerb;

(f) excavate for and construct drainage structures including transitions;

(g) make all required connections to existing stormwater infrastructure and pit modification as per the

details on the drawings and RMS specifications

(h) provide for grated kerb inlet pits up to 1.5 metre depth, Including all materials, subsoil tail drains

as required and step irons as necessary:

(i) provide for grated kerb inlet pit over 1.5 metres depth, Including all materials, subsoil tail drains as

required, and step irons as necessary

(j) supply and construct temporary or permanent headwalls

(k) excavate for and construct subsoil drainage installation, including for supply of all materials (geo-

fabric, Slotted pipe, No-fines concrete/ aggregate material as required) to RMS standards and

excavation in all classes of material.

(l) construct no-fines pad to the details of the drawing and to RMS specifications

(m) provide for a final clean out of all drainage pits, sumps, inlets, and the like, flush sub-soil drains,

and make good all catch points as required.

f. Pavements

(a) prepare, trim and compact to profile including pavement subgrade, footpaths, berms and batters;

(b) supply, place and compact SMZ 150mm course to RMS standard (CBR >= 15%);

(c) supply, place and compact SMZ 150mm course to RMS standard (CBR >= 30%);

(d) supply place and compact DGS20 min 150mm to RMS standards under footpaths;

(e) surfacing of road pavement;

a. supply and installation of 100mm AC20 (AR450 Binder) intermediate asphalt course.

b. supply and installation of asphalt wearing courses 45mm AC14 (DG A15E BINDER)

c. supply and installation of 7mm Spray Seal

(f) construct concrete structures to required detail and specifications including pram ramps

(g) supply and construct concrete kerbs to RMS specification and to the detail provided on the design

drawings

(h) supply and construct concrete footpath including all subbase and subgrade preparation,

edgeboards, reinforcement, concrete, ableflex / bitumous impregnated fibreboard, finishing works

and curing, to the details on the drawings and in accordance with RMS / local council

specifications with allowance for the most onerous specification.

g. Signage and Linemarking

(a) removal of all redundant signage and footings as detailed on the drawings

(b) Supply and installation of signs to RMS standards including posts and erection; Street name blade

and post install to Council standard.

(c) Provide use of vac-truck non-destructive digging for all signage foundations.

(d) Provide for all prepping and cleaning of pavements intended for line-marking works

(e) All longitudinal and transverse line marking & RPM’s (Road Pavement Markers) to RMS standard,

with approved paint or thermo-plastic;

(f) “Red” bus lane painting to RMS standard

(g) Provide for tactile indicators and visual delineation to pram ramps where required to local council

specification.

h. Landscaping

(a) Turf along roadsides must be Zoysia “Empire” or equivalent (approved by Georgiou)

(b) Installation of Turf to be complaint with R178 & R179

(c) Installation of Turf underlay to be complaint to R178 & R179

3. WAD 03 – Schofields Rd Turning Bay (Separable portion 2)

(l) Demolition of pavement including disposal of material off-site, including asphalt, concrete kerb,

gutter and footpath, and any existing structures including drainage pits and pipes, and reinstate

verge to match adjacent surfaces.

4. Safety Requirements

a) The Subcontractor must submit the following safety documents and receive approval by Georgiou

prior to commencement on Site:

i. Site specific management plan (applicable to the Works only); and

ii. Safe work method statements, 2 weeks prior to commencement (applicable to all the

Subcontractor’s subcontractors).

i. VoC is defined within the OFSC Evidence Guide as ‘a method of documented evaluation of the skill level of a person against defined competency standards in order to evaluate the person's ability to carry out the relevant activity or works.’

ii. Accredited companies are required to ensure that workers operating mobile plant are competent, and that there is a system in place to ensure operators of mobile plant have met the minimum legislative requirements. If a company has a system that requires additional verification beyond OFSC requirements, it is expected that the company’s defined requirements are followed, and these will be subject to review at OFSC audits.

iii. VoC Requirements for Mobile Plant Operators: 1. The following can be used as evidence of competency:

a. High-Risk Work Licence issued by a State or Territory under the National Certification System as per the legislation; or

b. Where a High-Risk Work Licence is not required by legislation: c. Licence or Certificate of Competency issued under previous State or

Territory legislation for which there is no longer a High Risk Work Licence required e.g. loadshifting equipment; or

d. Statement of Attainment or Certificate issued by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for the successful completion of the appropriate unit of competency in the Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) package; and within 2 years since the issue date

e. evidence of formal VoC assessment against defined competency standards, which should:

2. be completed, or confirmed as having been completed, by the accredited company to an acceptable level, such as the relevant NRT, internal VoC process, or equivalent;

3. include a detailed and documented assessment standard; 4. be completed by a person (or persons) who meets the documented

competency as defined by the company to conduct a VoC assessment; and 5. be evidenced by a signed, completed VoC assessment.

b) The Subcontractor must use the Georgiou safety system for management and recording of all safety

documentation (Georgiou on-line induction).

c) The Subcontractor (and any proposed subcontractors) must comply with WHS Act 2011 and Work

Health Safety Code of Practice 2017 and Georgiou’s safety procedures as set out in (amongst other

documents):

i. HS Management Plan;

ii. Chain of Responsibility Management Plan;

iii. Utilities Management Plan;

iv. Emergency Response Management Plan; and

v. Traffic Management Plan vi. Plant Hazard Risk Assessments

i. Pursuant to the requirements of Workplace Health and Safety Legislation the supplier shall provide the purchaser with a comprehensive plant risk assessment for the plant being purchased.

ii. The plant risk assessment should contain details of: 1. Hazards that have not been eliminated during design and/or manufacture. 2. The risk associated with each remaining hazard. 3. Details of risk treatments implemented by the supplier to minimise the risk

of remaining hazards. 4. Details of risk treatments recommended to be undertaken by the purchaser. 5. The residual risks associated with each risk treatment.

These procedures’ requirements include, but are not limited to:

i. Attendance at Site inductions;

ii. Attendance and compliance at plant inductions including for all cranage and lifting equipment;

iii. Attendance and participation at all daily pre-start meetings and site tool box talks;

iv. Fully comply with all work permit processes

v. Testing and tagging of tools and equipment (including lifting equipment);

vi. Development and implementation of Construction Method Statements;

vii. Attendance and participation at Daily Pre-Start Work Meetings and obtaining permits to work;

viii. In relation to lifting on site, ensuring that:

iii. approved lifting permits (where applicable) are in place and signed onto by all

involved;

iv. appropriate HRWL and verification of competencies (VOC) in place;

v. only ticketed dogman may rig loads;

vi. all lifting points are certified prior to lifts;

vii. all lifting gear (chains, slings, wire ropes, shackles, hooks etc.) used onsite have a

current certificate of test or inspection carried out by a qualified inspector within the

last 12 months and are suitable for the lifting point provided by the precast unit;

viii. All lifting equipment to have been inspected and tagged 1/4ly in accordance with the

Georgiou Lifting Equipment Test Tag Colour Coding

ix. lifting with earthmoving equipment is permitted to the limit of the SWL only. All

earthmoving equipment (used as a crane) with a rated capacity exceeding of 1 tonne

must have anti burst valves;

ix. In relation to deliveries to site, ensuring that:

x. all delivery drivers are signed onto a delivery driver’s induction;

xi. all delivery vehicles are escorted through the site;

xii. all delivery drivers may only operate a hiab crane if they are in compliance with the

above detailed lifting requirements (NOTE: a HRWL – CV is required for all vehicle

loading crane operators irrespective of the Hiab rated capacity;

x. Maintaining work areas in a safe and tidy condition by:

xiii. supplying, installing and maintaining all handrails, barricades and warning measures

to ensure safety exclusion zones around all excavations;

xiv. maintaining good housekeeping at all times;

xv. ensuring all excavation is suitably battered, benched or shored as required by the

SafeWork NSW Code of Practice: Excavation. Any variation to this must be supported

by a geotechnical investigation report and must be submitted to Georgiou for

approval.

d) The Subcontractor must comply, and ensure that its subcontractors/suppliers and service providers

comply, with the relevant jurisdiction’s Chain of Responsibility legislation. This includes, but is not

limited to ensuring systems are in place to prevent breaches of road transport laws when transporting

goods, services, materials & equipment to and from Georgiou operational sites resulting from:

i. Over-mass and/or over size loads;

ii. Unsecured loads. Driver fatigue;

iii. Fitness for work (including but not limited to consumption of illicit drugs and alcohol);

iv. Speeding; and

v. Maintenance & servicing of transport vehicles.

e) The Subcontractor must only engage reputable transport companies who keep accurate and up to

date records of vehicle servicing and driver hours, and/or utilise GPS satellite tracking in their vehicles.

f) Georgiou may, at its sole discretion, conduct random audits of Subcontractors and their transport

providers including:

i. Auditing of transport vehicle log books and service records to confirm compliance with vehicle

servicing requirements.

ii. Auditing transport company timesheets and/or log books to ensure compliance with

regulations regarding driver working hours and breaks.

iii. Auditing transport company records to confirm GPS satellite tracking information from

vehicles is being recorded (including speeds and routes etc.) and the appropriate action is

being taken regarding any non-compliances.

iv. Auditing Transport Company records to ensure that driver competency assessments are

being undertaken for all drivers.

g) The Subcontractor is to comply with all relevant local, state and federal authorities and legislative

requirements.

h) The Subcontractor must ensure that its personnel at all times wear compliant PPE in accordance with

Georgiou’s requirements and Australian Standards. This includes long sleeved shirts, which shall be

in good condition and complaint with Rail Industry Standards (shoulders covered) with collars and

long trousers; and full-fingered gloves to be carried at all times and worn for manual work along with

other standard PPE as required by the Project rules. Hard Hats shall be in good condition, compliant

with Australian Standards, free of defects.

i) Any incident (including all actual or potential injuries, hazards, near miss, must be reported

immediately to the Georgiou Project Manager and recorded with Sydney Metro within 2hrs of the

event.

j) The Subcontractor must provide at least 1 qualified First Aid person for every 25 personnel on site

(including any of its subcontractors). The First Aid qualification must be current and the first aider

made known to Georgiou.

k) The Subcontractor must provide a dedicated spotter for each of the following:

i. Where working near known underground utilities (as defined in the Utilities Management Plan

for the project)

ii. Where working within the ‘safe approach distance’ of live electrical apparatus (Operators &

dedicated spotters must hold a current ‘Work Near Live Electrical Apparatus as a Non

Electrical Worker or asset owner equivalent qualification)

iii. At each excavation and loading operation (where determined by the project management)

iv. To manage vehicle movements (where determined by the project management)

v. Where working in proximity too High Voltage Installation.

l) The Subcontractor will be responsible for safe working adjacent to services and acknowledges that

has a full understanding of the requirements of Georgiou’s excavation permit procedure.

m) As per Georgiou Safety procedures, 9” grinders, <1.5mm Grinding & Cutting Discs, A Frame

Ladders are not allowed on Georgiou sites. Quick Cut Saws will only be allowed to be used by

Georgiou approved specialist subcontractors. Quick Cut Saws are to be a last resort only, and only

if all other alternatives have been exhausted. Please refer to the procedures in the Georgiou Safety

Management Plan.

5. Environmental Requirements

a) The Subcontractor must comply with all relevant legislation including the Protection of the

Environment Operations Act 1997, noting in particular the duty of care owed by the Subcontractor

both to the environment and to ensuring that its acts and / or omissions do not cause environmental

harm.

b) The Subcontractor is responsible for ensuring compliance with Georgiou’s Project Construction

Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and all relevant documentation relating to the CEMP,

including inspection reports raised by Georgiou. The Subcontractor must, when required, provide

Georgiou with all requested documentation, including maintenance records, inspection lists etc.

c) The Subcontractor is responsible for the management and maintenance of erosion and sediment

controls within the environmental area of the Works in accordance with Georgiou’s Environmental

Control Map (ECM) detailing site-specific environmental controls. The environmental area of the

Works is defined as the geographical area which has the potential to be affected in an

environmental capacity by the Subcontractor.

d) The Subcontractor is responsible for the supply and installation of the sediment and erosion control

materials in accordance with the erosion and sediment control within the ECM.

e) The Subcontractor must rectify all damage to existing environmental controls caused by the

Subcontractor at its own expense.

f) The Subcontractor must ensure all vehicles used in the Works are clean prior to leaving site to

prevent mud and sediment being tracked onto the road and to prevent the spread of noxious weeds.

Any cleaning costs incurred by Georgiou due to non-compliance will be back-charged to the

Subcontractor.

g) The Subcontractor must adhere to the Project’s vibration and noise and restrictions.

h) The Subcontractor is required to suppress all dust generated by the Works;

6. Quality Requirements

a) The Subcontractor must allow for all time associated with the Project’s inspections, testing and

surveillance regime and testing in accordance with the Specifications and legislative requirements.

b) The Subcontractor must complete the works is accordance with the Drawings, RMS D&C

Specifications and to Georgiou approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and associated checklists.

c) The Subcontractor is to liaise with Georgiou to formalise the Works Construction Method Statement

(CMS) and Work Activity Briefings (WABs) which will describe the methodology, mass haul

requirements, plant and equipment utilised for the Works. This CMS is to be finalised no later than 1

week prior to works commencing on site and will require key personnel from the Subcontractor to

attend a workshop for the presentation of the CMS to Sydney Metro.

d) The Subcontractor is responsible for performing testing for the Works in accordance with the relevant

Specifications.

e) Testing requirements will be as detailed by the Specifications and the prepared ITPs for the works.

f) The Subcontractor is to submit Hold Points and Witness Points as required by the Specifications and

approved ITPs for the works to Georgiou with an additional 24hrs to the timeframes stipulated in the

Specifications and approved ITPs. Where no timeframe is nominated in such documents, the

Subcontractor is to provide Georgiou with 48hrs notice for Hold Points and Witness Points. The

Subcontractor will not be entitled to an Extension of Time for delays in the response to Hold Points

and Witness Points.

g) The Subcontractor is to achieve the required tolerances as specified by the design drawings and

applicable Specifications. Any assistance or dispensation provided by Georgiou in this regard shall

not in any way reduce or negate the Subcontractor’s responsibility.

h) Georgiou shall undertake survey conformance in accordance with the relevant Specification and

perform survey pick-ups on a monthly basis for payment purposes. Any other survey is to be

undertaken by the Subcontractor as required.

i) The Subcontractor must raise a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) for any Work not in conformance

with applicable Specifications, Drawings or Plans. This report is to be raised within 24hrs of identifying

the non-conformance and document the root cause of the non-conformance as well as detail proposed

rectification measures. This document is to be submitted and approved by Georgiou prior to any

rectification works being undertaken and the NCR closed. The completion of rectification works is at

the Subcontractor’s expense. Failure to carry out approved rectification works in a timely manner will

result in these works being carried out by others and the associated costs back-charged to the

Subcontractor.

j) A defects inspection will be carried out at the completion of the Works. The Subcontractor shall

promptly rectify any defects identified during this inspection, including defects and damage to adjacent

infrastructure as a result of the Subcontractor’s Works.

k) Prior to commencement at any work area a handover process will occur to identify and document the

existing condition;

l) The Subcontractor is to submit all relevant Quality Documentation as listed in Georgiou’s inspection

and test plans and specifications at least 5 working days prior to commencement on site; and

m) The Subcontractor is to submit all relevant Quality Documentation as listed in Schedule 1 prior to

practice completion.

7. Programme

a) The Subcontractor must proceed with the Works in accordance with the Contract Program.

b) The Subcontractor must, within 5 Business Days of the Commencement Date, prepare and submit to

Georgiou a Works Program which:

i. In respect of activity prior to the date of the Works Program, depicts the actual time, sequence

and duration of the work under the Subcontract;

ii. In respect of activity following the date of the Works Program, depicts the reasonably

anticipated time, sequence and durations for bringing the work under the Subcontract to

Construction Completion by the Date for Construction Completion;

iii. Detail works by others as stipulated within this scope of works or depicted in the Contract

Program; and

iv. Is consistent with the Contract Program.

c) The Subcontractor must:

i. Update the Works Program in response to each amendment of the Contract Program and

each delay in the progress of the work under the Subcontract;

ii. Provide a copy of the Works Program to Georgiou’s Representative promptly after each

amendment.

iii. In any case, provide an updated copy of the Works Program with each Progress Payment

Claim detailing reasons for any changes from the previously submitted Works Program.

d) The Subcontractor must provide all assistance necessary to Georgiou for Georgiou to comply with its

programming obligations under the Head Contract, including:

i. Providing subsidiary programs for all activities to be undertaken in carrying out the work under

the Subcontract; and

ii. Providing such programs in a format and using such software as required by the Head

Contract.

e) Cost impacts due to inclement weather, plant downtime and labour resourcing issues are considered

to be at the Subcontractor’s risk and the costs of any rework of the Works resulting from inclement

weather will be borne by the Subcontractor.

f) The Subcontractor must make due allowance in its program for inclement weather, such allowance

to be evident in the Works Program.

g) The Subcontractor must submit a rolling 3-week look-ahead program each week to Georgiou for

review. This should include planned activities, production expected and plant and equipment to be

used. The 3 week look-ahead program shall also detail the upcoming QA Hold Points and Witness

Point inspections plus any Geotechnical materials’ testing required.

h) The Subcontractor is to ensure the Works are performed in accordance with the Contract Program,

including within specified timelines and to any staging requirements which may include temporary

works.

i) The Subcontractor must allow for mobilisation and demobilisation as required to complete the works

in accordance with Georgiou’s Construction Program.

j) The Subcontractor is to supply adequate number of crews, personnel, plant and equipment resources

to safely complete the Works by the key milestone dates as detailed in the Contract Program.

k) The Subcontractor must submit monthly a full program for the works, including a manpower histogram.

l) The Subcontractor must provide replacement plant and/or equipment in sufficient to ensure continuity

of works in the event of mechanical breakdowns and to prevent any delays to the Works.

8. General

a) All works must be constructed in accordance with the project specific Specifications and Design

Drawings included as Subcontract Documentation.

b) Reference documents and documents to be used for information only are also included to assist in

the planning and pricing of the Subcontract Works. These are found in the “For Information

Documents”.

c) The Subcontractor is to inspect the site and review the For Information Documents to familiarise

themselves with the existing conditions. Key stakeholders include (to be managed by Georgiou):

i. Other Contractors, including NRT;

ii. Adjacent properties, residences, businesses, school, shopping precincts and bus stops;

iii. All existing traffic movements including buses; and

iv. All existing pedestrian movements.

d) The Subcontractor acknowledges that the above-mentioned stakeholders are of critical importance

and that management of these items is a high priority for Georgiou;

e) Any deviation to the Subcontractor Documentation, including any specifications, drawings and

sequencing/ staging, will not be permitted without prior submission via a Request for Information (RFI)

and approval by Georgiou.

f) The Subcontractor will be responsible for the design, supply, certification of any temporary works

required for the construction works. The Subcontractor shall submit the temporary works design for

approval by the joint venture Proofing Engineer before installation.

g) All deliveries must be communicated to and coordinated with Georgiou’s representative in writing at

least 24hrs prior to delivery arrival. Failure by the Subcontractor to properly co-ordinate delivery of

materials to Site may result in the delivery being refused. Any costs arising from delivery being refused

or requiring re-scheduling will be borne by the Subcontractor.

h) The Subcontractor must allow for working around and co-ordinating works with other trades /

subcontractors and utilities.

i) Industry best practice is to be implemented for Works at all times.

j) General planning and regular co-ordination meeting will take place between the Subcontractor and

Georgiou on a weekly basis. The Subcontractor must ensure a responsible site representative attends

all site meetings as requested by Georgiou.

k) The Subcontractor is required to have the following key personnel on site:

i. Senior Supervisor (Full-time)

ii. Project Engineer (Full-time)

iii. Safety Representative (this person must not hold any other position or carry out any other

tasks other than that carried out by a Safety Representative).

l) The Subcontractor is to utilise and provide the allocated space for stockpiling (as shown on the

stockpile and laydown area drawings).

m) The Subcontractor must install and maintain temporary hoardings, fencing and walls on and around

each Site as necessary to provide safety and security in the performance of the Subcontractor’s

activities. The temporary hoardings, fencing and walls must be erected prior to commencing the

Subcontractor’s activities in the affected areas.

n) Temporary hoardings and fencing installed by the Subcontractor must be made from as-new materials

and must at all times be maintained in a neat and tidy condition and be sympathetic with the

surroundings.

o) Any hoardings, fencing or walls on or around each Site must be maintained free of graffiti and any

advertising material not authorised by Georgiou until the Date of Completion of the last Portion to

achieve Completion.

p) The Subcontractor must carry out daily inspections of all hoardings, fencing and walls. Graffiti and

unauthorised advertising identified during the daily inspections must be removed or covered within

the following timeframes:

i. graffiti must be removed or covered within 24 hours; and

ii. any advertising material must be removed or covered within 24 hours.

q) The Subcontractor must ensure work areas are maintained in a clean and safe condition at all times

and must leave the Site in a clean and safe condition suitable for commencement of work by any

following or concurrent trades.

r) The Subcontractor must remove all rubbish caused by the Subcontractor from work areas daily or as

may be otherwise directed by Georgiou;

s) Street parking is only allowed in signed posted locations or within the confines of the work area;

9. Exclusions

a) There are no exclusions noted under this Scope of Works. All undertakings necessary to complete

the Works shall be performed by the Subcontractor as if a stand-alone contract without expectation

for Georgiou to provide assistance to the Work.

b) For further clarity, the engagement (and payment for) the Independent Certifier (IC) under the Works

Authorisation Deed, is by others. (However notification of hold points to the IC shall be by the

Subcontractor), The notification periods for Hold Point Inspections are to be understood and managed

accordingly by the Subcontractor and note that these may be up to 15 business days in the process

of a “tiered” system of notification.
