The small town of Crystal Cove relies on its reputation as the “Most Hauntedest Place on Earth” to bring in tourist dollars. But the Mystery Incorporated gang – Fred Jones Jr, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, Norville “Shaggy” Rogers and their dog, Scooby Doo, are determined to get to the bottom of it all.

Is the Ghost Truck real? And what about the Gator people? Mayor Jones and Sheriff Stone don’t want these doings debunked, as then the town would lose it’s mysterious appeal. Amid the romantic entanglements the gang get involved in, it would seem there might be a deeper mystery going on… Who is Mr E.? And what happened to Crystal Cove’s original Mystery Incorporated?

This section briefly details the models you can include in a Mystery Incorporated cast. For the new models we detail each model’s background, and shows their ratings and genres at a glance. Each profile card provides the full details on each model.

Mystery Incorporated

HEROIC CAST MEMBERS

FRED JONES JR. | Co-Star | 5 RATINGS Fred is handsome and personable, but often makes decisions for the whole gang, which can rankle with Shaggy and Scooby. He has a great interest in traps, and is always trying to create the perfect trap to capture monsters.

DAPHNE BLAKE | Co-Star | 4 RATINGS Daphne has impeccable fashion sense and is very enthusiastic but is a bit clumsy and totally danger-prone, often needing rescuing from various monsters. She is romantically close to Fred.

VELMA DINKLEY | Co-Star | 4 RATINGS Velma is the brains of the gang, often being the only one to spot the significance of clues. She is totally short-sighted and almost cannot function without her glasses.

Norville "Shaggy" Rogers | Co-Star | 4 RATINGS Like Scooby, Shaggy is lazy, always hungry and not brave at all. The only time he can stand up to his fears are when Scooby is in danger, or when he gets a Scooby snack.

SCOOBY DOO | Co-Star | 4 RATINGS Scooby, despite his size, is also a total coward, even more so that Shaggy. Although dim-witted, Scooby can talk, drive vehicles and pick locks. Like Shaggy he tends to think with his stomach.

The Mystery Machine | VEHICLE | 4 RATINGS This psychedelic van transports the gang from place to place – with a tendency to break down just as they are totally in trouble. It contains various useful items the gang can use during their investigations.

SHERIFF STONE | EXTRA | 3 RATINGS Sheriff Stone would prefer Mystery Inc. leave him to solve crimes, and is initially dismissive of reports of monsters, even when he witnesses them himself.

Crystal Cove Deputy | EXTRA | 2 RATINGS The deputies of Crystal Cove are well used to dealing with all kinds of reports of trouble, which usually involves four kids and a dog somewhere.

Scared BystanderExtra | 2 models for 1 rating These poor innocents have to suffer capture and intimidation, all because they have chosen to live in the “Most Hauntedest Place on Earth”.

A Mystery Inc. cast can also include the following models from the 7TV 2nd edition rules:

Administrator •Doctor•Scientist•VIP•

Monster castSIf you really want to play out a proper Scooby Doo game, the best cast to use against Mystery Inc. is probably the Paranormal cast from the Paranormal Exterminators Programme Guide. This cast list features all kinds of spooks, ghouls and things which go bump in the night.

Or you can face Mystery Inc. off against any other 7TV cast, either from another programme guide, or via the open casting system in the rules.

Regardless of which cast you choose, you can choose to include one of the two Guest Stars below, as per the normal rules for including guest star models in your cast.

Mysterious Monster | Co-Star | 5 ratingsThe Mysterious Monster is terrorizing Crystal Cove but is inevitably captured and found to be a disgruntled member of the town inside a rubber suit, out for revenge or trying to make a fast buck.

Large Monster | Star | 9 ratingsSometimes bigger is better! The Large Monster might be robotic, remote controlled, or just an even bigger suit. No matter, the sheer size of it is going to give Mystery Inc. some problems!
