• Remember to control hands, feet, and voice level.

• Ask questions if you are unsure. Asking questions is a vital part of learning.

• Raise your hand for help if needed.

• Do not eat or drink during lab time.
• Never smell unknown substances directly.
• Wash hands after handling lab equipment, plants or animals.

• Wear goggles when science involves danger to the eyes.
• Goggles protect against impact and splashes and reduce dust and fumes, especially when heating a substance.

• Use the equipment with care. Other students would like to have the same opportunity to learn.
• Report broken equipment immediately.
• Handle sharp objects safely.
