Schools Fantasy League

What is Schools Fantasy League (SFL)?

• SFL is an online activity linked to fantasy football

• You compete against your friends and teachers

and other schools for end of season prizes!

• Pick your team before the first matches on

Saturday October 15th, the season runs until the

end of the season in May.

Who can Play?

• Students – girls and boys

• Staff – all the best staff will be entering a team

• There’s no excuse because...

..IT’S FREE

• You become Premier League managers and pick your own Premier League players

• Your players score points based on their performance in actual Premier League matches. If your team has the most points then you stand to win a certificate, medal or a trophy!

The Rules

• You will have a £70m budget to spend on your team of 11 Premier League players

• You cannot choose more than 3 players from one Premier League team, and you must choose one of the formations:

4:4:2 4:3:3 5:3:2

• You can make transfers during the course of the season, but no more than 5 a month.

• AND you can only make a maximum

of 5 each month

Scoring points

• 3 points for a goal.

• 2 points for an assist (pass made to goalscorer).

• 1 point for each goalkeeper or defender that plays at least 45 minutes of a game…

Losing points!

• -1 point for each goal that a goalkeeper or defender concedes!
