The School Year Internship Pilot Program is designed to provide District high school students ages 14-21 with work-based learning opportunities during the school year. Through this program, DOES strives to provide participants with the opportunity to: • Earn money and gain meaningful work experience; • Learn and develop the skills, attitudes, and commitment necessary to succeed in today's world of work; and • Gain exposure to exciting career industries P R O G R A M R E Q U I R E M E N T S : • 14-21 • DC resident • Enrolled in high school • Eligible to work in the US APPLICANTS MUST BE: Office of Youth Programs The Department of Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Provider.
