Year 5 Trip - Ancient Lives: New Discoveries at The British Museum On Monday 3rd November, year 5 will visit the Ancient Lives: New Discoveries exhibition at The British Museum. Our history topic for autumn has focused on Ancient Egypt and we have recently been investigating the process of Mummification and Hieroglyphics. We feel this would be a wonderful experience for the children to find out more about the lives and artefacts linked to the Ancient Egyptians. We will travel to the site by coach and during our time there we will receive a guided tour around the Egyptian Galleries and the Ancient Lives Exhibition. For more information on The British Museum please visit www.britishmuseum.org.uk The cost of the trip is £15.00 per child and all children will be provided with a school packed lunch. The information letter and consent form can be accessed via your WisePay account and copies have been emailed home to Y5 parents this week but should you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact either myself or Miss Spencer on the email addresses below:- [email protected] [email protected] Julie Wilshaw, Y5 Teacher & Trip Leader.
