Maile acting graduate and performing troop member Jack Griffo has found much success in the entertainment industry. Jack is one of Nickelodeon’s rising stars in the new show The

Thundermans as ‘Max Thunderman’.

The Thundermans is a superhero family who is trying to keep their super-human quirks under wraps and lead a normal life. Jack’s character ‘Max’ is mischievous to no end. He has the same superpowers as his twin sister Phoebe, but he uses his for whipping up gadgets and potions in his evil lair instead. Jack calls Max his best role so far. “He’s definitely fun because he’s unlike anything I’ve done before,” he said. The Thundermans airs on Nick Saturday nights at

9/8c.

Jack also starred in the Nickelodeon movie called Jinxed which premiered on November 29th. He plays the role of Brett who is the cute popular boy who is interested in Meg Murphy. The Murphy’s are an unlucky family that has been

cursed for generations.

Jack’s impressive resume includes guest starring roles on Jessie, Marvin Marvin, See Dad Run, and Kickin’ It to name a few. He stepped into the spotlight booking his first commercial at the age

of two.

Teen acting grad Connor Pryce, (12) can be seen in a co-starring role as Daniel Baldwin’s son in A Little Christmas Business, available now for this holiday season on Amazon.com. Connor was thrilled to work with the cast of Daniel Baldwin, Tammy Barr, Lorenzo Lamas, Corbin Timbrook, Leslie Easterbrook and Bo Hopkins. Mom Nancy says, “They are true pro’s that welcomed Connor and

supported him through his 23 lines of dialogue”.

Connor can also be seen in a featured role in Home Front, a Millenium Films, shot in New Orleans, starring Jason Stathan, James Franco, Kiera Knightly and Kate Bosworth; look closely as the trailer plays, you will see Connor on the playground as the bully’s best friend. Connor is born and raised in California and has a passion for action films, comedy, improv and being in front of the camera. He particularly likes the camaraderie of film making and aspires to become a true filmmaker...acting, directing and producing. Connor is a student at Windermere Prep school with an elective in drama. Connor says, “I am thankful for The Maile Acting School and blessed to have an early start to my career.”

Did you see Maile School acting grad Mandy Moore in the Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation of Christmas in Conway, which premiered Sunday, December 1st on the ABC Television Network? Congrats to Vice President Debby Tapia for 25 years of service at The Maile School! Debby Tapia’s impressive career at the school began first as a student in the Image & Professional Modeling program. She became one of the friendly faces at the front desk. Now as our Vice President, Debby is responsible for all Public Relations and teaches in many of our kids and teen programs. She believes each child can succeed when they feel confident. Debby is a certified etiquette consultant trained at The American School of Protocol in Atlanta, Georgia. We are excited for Debby’s accomplishments at The Maile School throughout the years and look forward to many more years

with her in The Maile School Family.
