Queensland Ballet’s Dance Camps for children are a great way to bring artistry and physical activity

to your community

DANCE CAMPS:

Regional arts organisations and councils have

a unique opportunity to provide an in-depth

experience for students who love to dance,

are looking for a creative outlet to learn more

about the magic of the ballet and need a physical

activity during the school holidays.

The four-day Dance Camps are created to

enrich lives and enhance community wellbeing

in regional Queensland, while reinforcing diverse

technical and expressive skills.

With new and old friends alike, participants

will perfect their technique and practice their

pirouettes under the careful guidance of

Queensland Ballet’s Teaching Artists.

Through joy, laughter and community spirit

Queensland Ballet’s Dance Camps are guaranteed

to make art a part of daily life.

Our Dance Camps are made possible by the

meaningful partnerships we have with regional

arts organisations and councils. We work

collaboratively with you to ensure your camp

is tailormade to the specific needs of your

community. Dance Camp partnership fees are

negotiated by location.

• Since the program began in 2015, we have

delivered 10 camps reaching almost 450

young dancers.

• So far, the farthest we have travelled to

deliver a dance camp is 1,200 kilometres from

Queensland Ballet’s studios in Brisbane!
