School is more about warmth than an A - class infrastructure, is believed by Quality Governing Council of CED Foundation.

To conduct the 2019-20 online survey & statistics, the jury and board members of CED Quality Assurance Unit tried to collect database of major A Class cities Private, Public, State & Budget Schools involving the city coordinators, state & National heads, parents and even students across the country.

Moreover to rate 3 star, 5 star & 7 star Rated Schools, the school leaders were interviewed.

The 10 parameters designed by the governing body of CED-QAU on education excellence were strictly on 10 point grading scale.

All parameters were given equal weightage which includes scholastic & Co Scholastic activities, achievements and the school board results. Moreover this year 576 schools applied in the selection process of star rated schools 2020.

Training and Assessment Unit is concern regarding the professional development of teachers which occupy a prime place not only in schools but also at

the national level as low learning outcomes are mostly ascribed to poor quality of teaching and learning in the classrooms across the nation.

Right from the Kothari Commission to NCTE (National Curriculum for Teacher Education), teacher has been proclaimed as the most important variable leading to effectiveness of education system. Therefore, a lot of emphasis has always been placed on the pre and post teacher education. The education system is continually evolving to adapt to changing socio-economic realities of the twenty-first century world. Thus, the need to regularly update and train teachers has assumed far more significance to get high Star Rating in the CED QUALITY ASSURANCE UNIT. It is increasingly being felt that teachers should assume the responsibility of their own learning through constant self-assessment and enhancement of knowledge, skills and attitudes.

The best performing Futuristic schools 2020 will be felicitated and awarded at the forthcoming annual Conference & Award Ceremony programme on 27th January to be held in The Leela Ambience Gurgaon.
