(EN) A few years ago, as a company, we chose a specific direction. Our genetic material was and remains the starting point, but our focus shifted to offering added value to grow-ers and retailers. We have achieved this with our marketing support and sales support. In this, our mission is be-coming increasingly clear: putting the grower in a better market position.

Through smart collaboration we have launched specific product-grower-market combinations. It took some courage to create our own, divergent path, but I’m very glad that we did this. We persevered and have been rewarded with some new developments. Winning the International Grower of the Year award in 2014 confirms that we are on the right track.

A step furtherIn my view, the ultimate goal of the entire flower and plant sector is to create an inspiring living space and enjoyment for consumers. To succeed in this, we must collaborate in the sup-ply chain. As breeder, our position is at the start of the chain; we see it as our task to find partners throughout the chain with whom we can achieve this.

So, we haven’t finished yet. There is still much terrain to explore. Step by step we are sowing our seed worldwide, engaging with even more partners in the chain to increase market return.

(IT) Qualche anno fa la nostra azienda ha intrapreso una strada ben precisa. Il punto di partenza era ed è la nos-tra genetica, ma il focus del nostro lavoro era di offrire un valore aggiunto ai selezionatori e ai rivenditori. Questo lo abbiamo realizzato attraverso il supporto marketing e il supporto alle vendite. In questo la nostra missione diventa sempre più chiara: migliorare la posizione del se-lezionatore sul mercato.

Collaborando in modo intelligente e grazie a delle combi- nazioni tra prodotto - selezionatore - mercato, abbiamo commercializzato delle novità. Per pensare fuori dagli schemi ci è voluto coraggio, ma sono incredibilmente soddisfatto di avere intrapreso questa strada. Abbiamo perseverato e abbiamo realizzato nuovi sviluppi. Vincere il titolo di International Grower of the Year 2014 award è stata la conferma di essere sulla strada giusta.

Un passo in avantiL’obiettivo ultimo di tutto l’intero settore dei fiori e delle pi-ante è di creare uno spazio vitale molto piacevole per il con-sumatore. Per potere avere successo in questo ci vuole la catena di collaborazione. Come selezionatori ci troviamo al punto di partenza e riteniamo che sia nostro compito trovare i partner con cui sia possibile realizzare questo.

Il nostro compito quindi non è ancora terminato. Resta ancora molto da scoprire e passo dopo passo andiamo avanti per au-mentare, con un numero sempre maggiore di partner, il rendi-mento del mercato su scala mondiale.

Come azienda siamo orgogliosi di trovarci dove ci troviamo adesso e faremo anche di tutto per portare avanti questa linea insieme a voi. (FR) Il y a quelques années, notre entreprise a choisi un certain cap. Nos travaux de sélection génétique étaient et restent le point de départ, mais nous nous sommes focalisés sur l’apport d’une valeur ajoutée aux horticul-teurs et détaillants. C’est ce que nous avons fait avec no-tre soutien de marketing et notre soutien de vente. Notre mission devient ici de plus en plus claire : offrir une meil-leure position de march é à l’horticulteur.

Une coopération ingénieuse nous a permis de commer cialiser des nouveautés grâce à des combinaisons ciblées produit-horticulteur-marché. Pour sortir des sentiers battus, il nous a fallu de l’audace, mais je me réjouis que nous ayons suivi cette voie. Nous avons poursuivi ce cap et avons engagé de nouveaux développements. Le prix “International Grower of the Year 2014” (Producteur international de l’année 2014) que nous avons remporté confirme que nous sommes sur la bonne voie.

Une étape supplémentaireLe but final de l’ensemble du secteur des fleurs et des plan-tes est d’offrir un cadre de vie exaltant au consommateur. Pour y parvenir, la coopération de la chaîne est nécessaire. En tant que sélectionneur, nous nous trouvons au début de la chaîne et nous considérons qu’il nous incombe de trouver des partenaires au sein de l’ensemble de la chaîne pour pouvoir réaliser cette coopération.

Notre tâche n’est donc pas terminée. Il reste encore beau-coup à découvrir et nous continuons étape par étape afin d’augmenter le rendement du marché au niveau mondial, avec encore plus de partenaires de la chaîne.

En tant qu’entreprise, nous sommes fiers de la position que nous occupons et nous mettrons tout en œuvre pour pour-suivre cette ligne, conjointement avec vous. (EN) The Touch Me+ growers association was established in 2013. In this association, Schoneveld Breeding works together with growers to ultimately develop a unique pro-duct into a premium brand.

We are stronger when we work together. The growers associa-tion can promote Touch Me which ensures better distribution in the winter period. Because, despite all the excellent proper- ties of this cheerful spring flowering houseplant, it is still a rela-tively small product group. However, the growers association’s most important activity is improving product quality. To this end, the products undergo independent quality testing. Con-siderable progress has been booked in the past three years. This form of collaboration will remain important to ensure that the itch-free Primula obconica finds its way into as many living rooms as possible.

(FR) L’association des horticulteurs Touch Me+ a été fondée en 2013. Schoneveld Breeding y collabore avec des horticulteurs afin de transformer un produit unique en une marque premium.

L’union fait la force. L’association des horticulteurs peut ainsi donner beaucoup plus de notoriété à Touch Me, ce qui génère de meilleures ventes dans la période hivernale. En effet, malgré toutes les bonnes caractéristiques de cette charmante plante à floraison printanière, ce groupe de produits reste encore as-sez restreint. Toutefois, la principale activité de l’association d’horticulteurs est la recherche de l’amélioration de la qualité. Aussi les produits font-ils l’objet de tests de qualité par une in-stance indépendante. Ces trois dernières années, d’importants jalons ont déjà été posés. Cette coopération restera également importante à l’avenir pour faire entrer cette Primula obconica non urticante dans le plus de foyers possible.

(IT) In 2013 is de telersvereniging Touch Me+ opgericht. SchNel 2013 è stata fondata l’associazione di coltivatori Touch Me+. All’interno di questa associazione Schoneveld Breeding collabora con i coltivatori per arrivare a svilup-pare un prodotto unico in un marchio esclusivo.

Quando si lavora uniti si è più forti. Così l’associazione di colt-ivatori può garantire più notorietà a Touch Me e questo, a sua volta, garantisce una vendita migliore nel periodo invernale. Infatti, nonostante tutte le caratteristiche positive che ques-ta pianta vivace a fioritura primaverile possiede, il gruppo di prodotti è ancora relativamente piccolo. Ad ogni modo, la cosa più importante che l’associazione di coltivatori fa è di lavora-re sul miglioramento della qualità. I prodotti, quindi, vengono indipendentemente controllati sulla qualità. Negli ultimi tre anni sono già stati compiuti dei passi notevoli. Anche in futu-ro questa collaborazione continuerà ad essere importante, per far entrare l’anallergica Primula obconica nel maggior numero possibile di case.

(EN) This series has a large plant and flower size. Original is easy to recognise because of its bright colours and thick, firm flower stems. Primula Original also has abundant, uniform blooms. Available in eight colours, including two bi-colours. This Primula obconica variety does contain primine, which means that the plant is less attractive to insects. It is highly suitable for cultivation in warm climates.

(EN) Paradiso Mid Early is a Primula acaulis with compact growth and which continues to flower in the home. This means that the plant can be cultivated with minimal use of growth regulators. In addition, the plants suffer from yellowing leaves less often. Paradiso Mid Early is available in eleven different colours including one bi-colour. Wine Red is the new colour this season. This Primula acaulis is suitable for cultiva-tion in 10 – 12 cm pots.

(EN) The Primula Paradiso Late is a new introduction to the Primula acaulis series in the 2016 season. Just like Paradiso Mid Early and Paradiso Mini, this Primula acaulis is compact, so it can be cultivated with minimal use of growth regulators. The plant is less sensitive to yellowing leaves and it grows uniformly. In contrast to Paradiso Mid Early and Paradiso Mini, Primula Paradiso Late needs considerable cold conditions to come into bloom. The bloom period is therefore later. For Northern Europe this is from the end of February to the end of March. Primula Paradiso Late is available from the 2016 season in 7 different colours, suitable for pot sizes 10 – 12 cm.

Cette Primula acaulis présente une croissance similaire à celle de Paradiso Mid Early et Paradiso Mini compact, et peut donc être cultivée avec peu de régulateurs de croissance. La plante est moins sensible au jaunissement des feuilles et présente une croissance uniforme. Contrairement aux variétés Paradiso Mid Early et Paradiso Mini, Primula Paradiso Late a besoin de conditions très froides pour fleurir. Elle présente de ce fait une période de floraison plus tardive. Pour la région de l'Europe du Nord, cette période s'étend de fin février à fin mars. Primula Paradiso Late sera disponible à par tir de la saison 2016 en 7 couleurs différentes pour des pots de 10 - 12 cm.

The variety has mo-dest growth regulator requirements. Ranunculus Sprinkles is available in eight colours, including two bi-colours. Two colours are new. Violet Bi-colour and Orange are available in the standard assortment for 2016. Ranunculus Sprinkles is suitable for pot sizes 10 – 12 cm. If you wish to use larger pots, we recommend multiple plants per pot.
