Foundation/Diploma/3+0 Degree at IMPERiA Payment of RM 300 will be made to student introducer for every student introduced and enrolled.

level programme at IMPERiA

This scheme is applicable to new students who are enrolling for the 1st time at IMPERiA.

The student must have a sibling who is currently studying at IMPERiA or has a sibling who is an IMPERiA alumnus/alumna.

This is a one-off deduction for new registration (i.e. new students) only.

This scheme is applicable to both Malaysian and International Students.

Student introducer must be an existing student (enrolled students).

Only those successful appointments being made with the IMPERiA counsellor will be counted.

GENERAL TERM & CONDITION FOR ALL SCHOLARSHIPS

OTHER SPECIFIC TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The award, unless specifically indicated, are open to Malaysian citizens only.

A) IMPERiA MERIT SCHOLARSHIP/ IMPERiA STUDENT LOYALTY SCHOLARSHIP/IMPERiA INAUGURAL SCHOLARSHIP

2. The Scholarship is offered strictly to full-time registered student at IMPERIA Institute of Technology.

3. Once awarded, Scholarship recipients must be enrolled as full-time students for the entire programme

1. The scholarship will be subjected to a review at the end of every semester. A Scholar must pass all examinations (subjects), maintain high academic and exemplary behaviour throughout their studies at IMPERiA to continue enjoying the award. Falling which the scholarship can be withdrawn.

GPA 3.33 or average 70% for scholars entitled to a tuition fee wives of 50% and more.

GPA of 3.0 or average 65% for scholars who entitled to tuition fee waives of less that 50%

4. Current year Trial exam / forecast result accepted for IMPERiA Merit Scholarship if the official result has not been released at the point of new intake. However, this Merit Scholarship will only be granted if the official result meets the scholarship requirements. ~ Applicants / students have to pay for the first semester fees, the 1st disbursement (first semester) will be reimbursed if the official result meets the scholarship requirements. ~ The first disbursement (first semester) will be reimbursed in the second semester (Foundation programme) or third semester (Diploma/Degree programme). ~ The disbursement for first semester fees will be forfeited in the event students / applicants withdraw from the programme before the reimbursement semester. ~ Only trial exam / forecast results duly certified by school principals are accepted.

2. If a student fails to maintain the required score of GPA or Grade Average, the scholarship / award will be suspended for the next semester. The student must pay the full tuition fee to continue with the course in the semester where the Scholarship/ award is suspended (“Suspended Semester”). Should the student meet the academic requirements for the Suspended Semester, the scholarship will be reinstated for the subsequent semester (provided that the scholarship / award is still valid for the subsequent semester), failing which the scholarship will be /deemed terminated. There will be no refund of fees paid by the student for the Suspended Semester.

5. Applicant may only use the latest official result (current year).

6. Student must meet the programme entry requirement prior to be eligible for scholarship.

7. The Scholarship is awarded in the form of deduction on tuition fee. 3. All scholarship recipients are required to contribute up to maximum 40 hours per semester of their time to assist the college in marketing and promotional activities, peer counselling, extracurricular activities, and other administration work as notified by the College. Failure to comply with such requests without reasons/reasons acceptable to the College may result in suspension or termination of the award/ scholarship.

8. The award is only for tuition fee waiver; the award is exclusive of application, registration, resource, assessment and franchise fees to partner university (if applicable), all of which must be borne by the successful applicant.

9. The scholarship is neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash.

10 All scholarships are applicable for studies at campuses of IMPERIA in Malaysia only and are not applicable for period of study at overseas partner universities.

11. At all times, applicants/students are entitled to only ONE of the following awards– scholarship, fee waiver, fee discount or any other financial awards – given by IMPERIA Institute of Technology. The award with the highest quantum will automatically apply.

B) IMPERiA LEARDERSHIP X-CELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP/ IMPERiA SPORT X-CELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP

12. Students receiving scholarship from other bodies are not eligible for the scholarship.

1. At all times, applicants/students are entitled to only ONE of the following awards– scholarship, fee waiver, fee discount or any other financial awards – given by IMPERIA Institute of Technology. The award with the highest quantum will automatically apply.

13 The terms and manner in which the scholarship is disbursed will be

decided by IMPERIA. All decision made by the IMPERIA Institute of Technology Scholarship Committee are final.

14. IMPERiA reserves the right to change the term & Condition of the scholarships as and when required without prior notice.

2. The award is for /as partial tuition fee waiver and is exclusive of application, registration, resource, assessment and franchise fees to partner university (if applicable), all of which must be borne by the successful applicant.

15. In the event of a dispute on the eligibility for the scholarship, the decision by the Scholarship Committee is Final.

16. IMPERiA reserves the right to involve the scholarship recipients in interviews, advertisements, photography or other publicity related activities for the purpose of promoting the education institution.

C) IMPERiA SIBLING LOYALTY SCHEME/IMPERiA AMBASSADOR SCHEME

17. All scholarship applications must be accompanied by completed registration form and any other required documents.

1. At all times, applicants/students are entitled to only ONE of the following awards– scholarship, fee waiver, fee discount or any other financial awards – given by IMPERiA Institute of Technology. The award with the highest quantum will automatically apply

18. The scholarship will be terminated upon completion of the normal prescribed study period specified by the IMPERIA campus.

19. IMPERiA Institute of Technology reserves the right to decide on the number / amount of scholarships to be awarded. 2. The award is for /as partial tuition fee waiver and is exclusive

of application, registration, resource, assessment and franchise fees to partner university (if applicable), all of which must be borne by the successful applicant.

20. IMPERiA Institute of Technology reserves the right to terminate the scholarship if the student does not abide by the rules and regulations stated in the student handbook.

21. Terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice. All decisions made by the management of IMPERIA on matters not covered above are final and binding.

SPECIFIC TERM & CONDITIONS FOR EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP FROM ASSOCIATE COMPANY (e.g.: SENTORIA GROUP BHD., ACCORD CONSTRUCTION SDN. BHD., or ANY OTHER) 1. The award is open to Malaysian citizens only. 12. The scholarship is neither transferable nor exchangeable for

cash. 2. The Scholarship is offered strictly to full-time registered student

at IMPERiA Institute of Technology. 13. All scholarships are applicable for studies at campuses of

IMPERiA in Malaysia only and are not applicable for period of study at overseas partner universities.

3. Once awarded, Scholarship recipients must be enrolled as full-time students for the entire programme

14. At all times, applicants/students are entitled to only ONE of the for Scholarship award. Students receiving scholarship from other bodies are not eligible for this scholarship. 4. Shortlisted applicants will be notified by IMPERiA via email or sms

5. Successful applicant will be informed by the IMPERIA via email within 2 weeks after the interview, they must confirm acceptance of the scholarship within 2 weeks, failing which it will be automatically withdrawn.

6. Applicant must only use the latest (current year) official result to apply for this scholarship award.

IMPERiA/Associate Company reserves the right to change the term & Condition of the scholarships as and when required without prior notice. 7. Student must meet the programme entry requirement prior to be

eligible for scholarship. 17. In the event of a dispute on the eligibility for the scholarship, the decision by the Scholarship Committee is Final. 8. Awardees have to sign an agreement with Associate Company

and observe the terms and conditions as set therein. 18. IMPERiA/Associate Company reserves the right to involve the scholarship recipients in interviews, advertisements, photography or other publicity related activities for the purpose of promoting the education institution.

9. Awardees must achieve and maintain high academic and exemplary behaviour throughout their studies at IMPERIA to continue enjoying the award:- • Full passes in all subjects and the applicable GPA/require

average below: GPA of 3.33 or average 70% every semester

• Actively in College’s sport, extracurricular and other related activities.

19. All scholarship applications must be accompanied by completed registration form and any other required documents.

20. The scholarship will be terminated upon completion of the normal prescribed study period specified by the IMPERIA campus.

(Including marketing and promotional activities, peer counselling, extracurricular activities, and other administration work as notified by the College.) Failure to comply with such requests without reasons/reasons acceptable to the College may result in suspension or termination of the award/ scholarship.
