Scholarship Criteria

The Johnson Space Center Chapter of the Prairie View A & M University National Alumni Association is offering scholarships to high school students who meet the following criteria: Applicant must be a graduating senior who plan to attend Prairie View A & M University full-time. 1. Applicant must submit:

A signed letter of recommendation from an organization, club, church, teacher, or employer verifying applicant’s public service participation, citizenship, character, and leadership. A JSC-PVU chapter member may submit the letter.

High school transcript (with SAT/ACT scores, and GPA)

Acceptance letter to PVAMU, if available

GPA based on a 4.0 scale (include on application)

Application must be legible (type or print) 2. Applicants must exhibit good character and should not have a criminal record or

served a probationary period. 3. The committee must receive a letter of verification of enrollment before the award is

given. Please complete the application and return by April 05, 2012.
