Der FSA20S... istservicefreundlichDer FSA20S hat einen Kontaktdorn, derschwache bis mittlere Oxidschichten anden Stromschienen durchstossen kann.Dadurch unterliegt der K-Dorn einemgewissen Verschleiss und muss vonZeit zu Zeit ausgewechselt werden.(kann vom Anwender selbst ausge-wechselt werden).Zum Auswechseln muss der FSAvollständig von der Stromversorgunggetrennt sein!Den K-Dorn am Kopf greifen und mitleichter Drehung herausziehen. NeuenK-Dorn reindrücken.

The FSA20S... isservice-friendlyThe FSA20S has a pointed contact pinthat can penetrate thin to moderatelythick oxide layers on the busbars. As aresult, the contact pin is subject to a de-gree of wear and must be replaced fromtime to time. (Can be replaced by thecustomer).In order to replace the contact pin,the FSA clamp must be completelydisconnected from the power supply.Grasp the head of the contact pin andpull out with a slight twisting move-ment. Push in new contact pin.

Hints on crimping withcrimping sleeves

MC recommends ELPRESS hexagonalcrimping. The dimensions of crimpingsleeves and the crimping insertssupplied by ELPRESS are designed forcrimping class 6 1) flexible conductors.In response to the increased use ofclass 5 1) conductors with lower flexibil-ity and therefore a smaller conductordiameter (e.g. H07RN-F), a new seriesof connectors with a crimping sleevespecially designed for these cables hasbeen added to the range. The newcrimping sleeves guarantee a perfectconnection in terms of both contact re-sistance and pull-out resistance ofcrimping sleeve.

Dazu das Mass X der Sechs-kant-Flächen, wo der Eindruck derDruckstempel erfolgt ist, (siehe Skizzeunten), mit dem Messschieber überprü-fen. Das gemessene Mass X sollte mitdem Prüfmass in der Tabelleübereinstimmen.

Evaluation of the crimpingresultsIt can be determined from the deforma-tion of the crimping sleeve whether thecrimping has been performed correctlyor not. This is done by checking with acaliper the dimension X of the hexagonsurfaces where the crimping die hasmade an indentation (see drawing be-low). The measured dimension X shouldagree with the test dimension stated inthe table.

2) SteckvorrichungKontakte sind beim Verbinden oderTrennen nur spannungsführend; Kontak-te sind aber nicht unter Last, sie führenkeinen Strom. Steckvorrichtungen müs-sen die angegebene Schaltleistung be-sitzen oder müssen so aufgebaut sein,dass sie nur im lastfreien Zustand (ohneStrom) zusammengesteckt und ge-trennt werden können. 3) Steckvorrichung (CBC)(CBC = connector with breaking capaci-ty). Kontakte sind beim Verbinden oderTrennen spannungsführend und Strom(Last) fliesst über die Kontakte. MCSteckverbinder sind nicht geeignet, un-ter Last gesteckt oder getrennt zu wer-den. Es kann keine Schaltleistungspezifiziert werden.

3) Connector with breaking capacity(CBC)

Contacts are under voltage and current(load) during connection and disconnec-tion. MC plug devices are not suitablefor connection or disconnection underload. No breaking capacity can bespecified.
