SCHEME AND SYLLABUS OFEXAMINATION FOR THE POST OF LOWER DIVISIONCLERK

1) The examination will consists of a Written Examination of 200 marks and Typing Teston Computer.

2) fter the written examination the num!er of candidates to !e called on the !asis ofmerit for the Typing Test shall !e in the ratio of 1"# i.e. fi$e times the num!er of$acancies.

%) &erit of candidates will !e decided on the !asis of the total marks scored in theWritten Examination su!'ect to (ualifying in the Typing Test.

) The Typing Test is of *ualifying in nature. +ailure in the typing Test shall !e failure inthe examination.

#) ,esolution of Tie cases - Tie cases will !e resol$ed !y applying one after another asapplica!le till the Tie is resol$ed"

i) /ate of irth with older candidate placed higher.ii) lpha!etical order in which the first names of the candidates appear.

3TE 2" There will !e negati$e marking of 0.2# marks for each wrong answer.3TE %" 9tandards of *uestions will !e of the le$el commensurate with educational

*ualification for the post i.e. 12thstandard.3TE " :isually handicapped :6) candidates with $isual disa!ilities of forty percent or

a!o$e can a$ail the assistance of a 9cri!e in the Written Examination su!'ectto such re*uests !eing made at the time of applying for the examination.(uestion papers and nswer 9heets will not !e pro$ided in raille.

3TE #" 4ersons with $isual disa!ility of less than forty percent will not !e consideredas $isually handicapped persons. 3ne eyed candidates and partially !lindcandidates who are a!le to read with or without magnifying glass will !eallowed to use the &agnifying ;lass in the Examination 6all and will not !eentitled to a 9cri!e. 9uch candidates will ha$e to !ring their own &agnifying;lass to the Examination hall.
