Studi d’Arte Cave Michelangelo di Franco Barattini, diretti da Luciano Massari, è il laboratorio artistico di Cave Michelangelo.Centro vitale per la formazione di giovani scultori, il laboratorio è composto da una struttura per la produzione artistica, nella quale l’evoluzione delle tecniche scultoree e la disponibilità di spazi e materiali si fondono per consentire la continuità della tradizione tradotta in chiave contemporanea. La scultura viene praticata con l’utilizzo delle tecniche più tradizionali e con aggiornate tecnologie moderne per la realizzazione di opere classiche e contemporanee.Il Laboratorio Studi d’Arte garantisce un’offerta qualitativamente elevata sia per la progettazione che per la realizzazione di manufatti artistici nei campi di scultura, architettura, design e restauro (pulitura, consolidamento, integrazione).Studi d’Arte Cave Michelangelo svolge la sua attività con artisti di fama internazionale che, grazie alla competenza dello staff, possono mettere a punto ogni fase della lavorazione. Tra le realizzazioni anche le grandi statue per la Basilica di San Pietro in Vaticano, le opere di arte ambientale di Giuseppe Penone alla Reggia di Venaria Reale a Torino, le produzioni per Sol LeWitt, Ilya e Emilia Kabakov, Sislej Xhafa, Luigi Mainolfi, Luciano Massari, Maurizio Cattelan e Jan Fabre.

Cave Michelangelo s.r.l., founded by Franco Barattini, is a company that has been active for more than 30 years in the extracting and marketing trade of "statuary" and "fine white" marble.Vital centre for the production and diffusion of contemporary art, the laboratory is composed of a structure for artistic production, in which the evolution of the sculptural techniques and the availability of space and materials, merge to allow the continuity of the tradition also known as current key. The sculpture is practiced using the most traditional technology and with up-to-date and modern technology for the making of classic and contemporary works. The Studi d’Arte laboratory guarantees an offer of extreme high quality in both the design as also for the realization of artefacts in the fields of sculpture, architecture, design and restoration (cleaning, consolidation,integration).Studi d'Arte Cave Michelangelo collaborates with world famous artists who, thanks to the staff's professionalism, can develop each phase of the process of statue making. Amongst the realizations you can also find the grand statues for the Basilica of St. Peter's in the Vatican city, the works of Environmental Art by Giuseppe Penone at the Royal Palace of Venaria in Turin, the works for Sol LeWitt, Ilya e Emilia Kabakov, Sislej Xhafa, Luigi Mainolfi, Maurizio Cattelan, Luciano Massari, Jan Fabre e Abel Abdessamed.
