Background
Scandium Company was first created and established in the United Kingdom in 2008 by the founder; Mr Aiman Awad. In 2009, Scandium and Scandium Arms Ltd was incorporated as a UK Defence Procurement Company trading internationally with Africa and the Middle East. In 2010, Scandium Arms expanded its operation by supplying Mobile Command & Control Vehicles, Military Aircrafts and Vessels to various Governments. In 2011, Scandium began supplying Military Medical Supplies and Equipment mainly from Turkey to the UK, Africa and the Middle East. In 2019, it became necessary to set up a Turkish Defence Company ‘Scandium Arms Savunma Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Sirketi’ as the Company further expanded with its products and services. In 2020 with the crisis of COVID-19, Scandium undertook requests from Governments for the supply of Hospital Ships including other COVID related products and equipment. With a base in Greater London, UK and in Ankara, Turkey; Mr Awad decided to form a Group of Companies due to the expansion of activities in each field and thus the current structure allows better focus for products within Land, Sea and Air. Scandium continues to offer Defence & Military Products , Defence Solutions and Services globally.
