SPECIAL PROJECT

Contemplations for doing Your Special Project: The Special Project for completing Sacred Centers Certification may me the most important learning that you do. This is your chance to really incorporate the material into your own thinking – to make it your own, to create your own contribution, and to apply what you have learned in an original way. The following guidelines may help you think through the creation of your Special Project. Sacred Centers staff is then ready to help you refine it appropriately. Things to consider:

1. Look at where your learning has been most alive for you.

2. In what arena are you inspired to apply your learning?

3. Where are you drawn to deepen your learning?

4. How does what you have learned in the program fit in with your other

areas of expertise?

5. How will you make the information your own?

6. How do you impart this to others? What form?

7. What would make the information come alive and useful?

8. What really wants to come through you as your unique expression of

this material?

Past Examples of Special Projects

Healer Track Special Projects:

• Written up description of case studies (3 or more)

• Personal training plan for each character structure

• Created a course for Christians based on the chakras

• Class plans for a Chakra Based 7-Week healing workshop

• Created a book based on experiencing the healing of a

fundamentalist background through the chakras

Teacher Track Special Projects:

• Training manuals translated to Dutch

• Created one’s own teaching booklet

• Created a project bringing together herbs and chakras

• Created a CD on manifestation/ Moon Wish

• Wrote and Performed a play incorporating the chakras as

characters

Guidelines

• Should be able to be shared with others

• Demonstrates your learning and engagement with the material

• Is an original contribution or application

• Adds knowledge to the field  

• Length and breadth, not so important, to be decided on a case

by case as appropriate for your learning and intention
