Tips and tricks• Here are some tips and tricks to filling out online application:
• Controls – the KBTUH for the qualifying unit should match the KBTUH of the control. If there are multiple controls for ONE unit, they share the KBTUH. Vice versa, if there is ONE control attached to multiple units the KBTUH of the control should match the TOTAL KBTUH of the Units.
• ECMs – ECMs will always be entered under “Residential Electric.” The ECM AHRI reference number will match the AHRI reference number of the Qualifying unit (Furnace). Please be sure to enter the ECM separately even though it may be a component of the Furnace. It should be entered with the same information as the piece of equipment it is attached to.
• If you are applying for an ECM furnace fan with ONLY qualifying gas equipment, the application is considered GAS despite the ECM furnace fan being considered Residential Electric.
• To avoid the delay of rebate payment please note that the Rebate Applicant name must match the Central Hudson account name. If you have a Landlord/Tenant situation and Applicant name is different from Account holder, you will need a Landlord/Tenant reassignment form. Please contact Melissa for the form.
• If you do not have the AHRI certificate or Manufacturer’s Spec you can find the AHRI at https://www.ahridirectory.org/ahridirectory/pages/home.aspx.
