However, this century, experts predict that majority of wars will be fought over control and use of water bodies. Growing deforestation, melting of glaciers, pollution, etc. have put serious pressure on available water resources. What is done in KR for RWH Captured rain water from KR roof top is fed to Water Tank and Bore well . Rain water has TDS of <100 [quite good of health] after first 10min of water flushed; compare to Bore-well/Tanker water with TDS >500. That means this water will be used by all residents in one way or the other touching all our daily life. Thus we need take strict measures to keep that water clean by not allowing polluting activities to take place in the roof top catchments. What if no measure is taken to Keep KR rooftop clean No or contaminated water for us and our kids Unhygienic contaminated water can cause serious health hazards Do’s Always keep Roof Locked before and after usage [mostly for only walking or any installation] For walking use sleeper which are different than outdoor [think that you putting your leg in your water] Keep company with kids, guests, pets or outsiders to avoid litter and Safety, as we are responsible Keep roof clean. Clean up if you find any material which clogging drain pipe or making roof dirty Inform security or committee if you see any violation Plant trees for Rain Water and Save Water Don’t Don’t use roof for party, picnic or function – use party hall. Don’t litter on roof and don’t allow anyone else as well. Don’t keep or leave any material or waste material on roof tops Don’t waste water in house to save water e.g. use bucket water or max shower instead of bath tub Don’t keep flower pots, clean cloths or utensils, dry cloths, take bath or mis-utilise roof top
