    The Foundation for Respect Ability Partners with the Huntersville Police Department for a

    Back to School Forum on Bullying and Cyberbullying

    The Foundation for Respect Ability and the Huntersville Police Department has teamed up for a community back to

    school open forum on bullying and cyberbullying. The forum will provide a dialog for parents and children to

    address issues with bullying and cyberbullying with a panel of area experts and to create awareness of available

    resources. The forum is on Tuesday, August 19 thfrom 4-6p.m. at the Huntersville Police Department, Community

    Room, 9630 Julian Clark Ave, Huntersville, NC 28078.

    This is an opportunity for parent, grandparents and students to get information and ask question of thecommunity experts. This forum will help prepare you and your child for the upcoming school year. All students, at

    some point, will witness or be involved with a bullying or cyberbullying incident, states Diane Benson, Executive

    Director of the Foundation for Respect Ability. This issue affects all of us.Lieutenant Tom Seifert of the

    Huntersville Police Department stated, This is a greatopportunity for the Huntersville Police Department to help

    shed light on this issue and provide our schools, students and parents with valuable resources.

    Debbie Lolla, Woodlawn School K-5 Life Skills teacher/curriculum creator

    John Concelman, CMS Character Development Initiatives Specialist (Bullying and Character

    Development)

    Mark Weiss, Director of Education, Operation Respect

    Sid Krupkin, Director of Education, Founding Board Member Foundation for Respect Ability

    Lynn Hennighausen, President Davidson LifeLine

    Officer Philip Geiger, Davidson Police Department / FBI Charlotte Child Exploitation Task Force

    Kylee Geiger, Incoming Freshman at Hough High School
