Twin Peaks Restaurants

Twin Peaks, a high-end restaurant chain, has a unique presence with 25 locations throughout ten states. They have successfully expanded throughout the United States and plan to continue with an additional ten locations in the near future.

Twin Peaks, Buckhead is considered their flagship location, strategically located near corporate headquarters to allow executives to walk potential investors and partners through the site as well as expose them to the one-of-a-kind “Man Cave” experience.

Project CaseAs with any sports bar establishment, the audio and video system is the heart of the guest experience. Crisp audio, high-definition viewing with multiple window displays, and the instantaneous options to view everything from boxing to football from one seat, is the ultimate sports bar experience.

The primary goal specifying the Savant system was simple: Twin Peaks needs their managers to manage restaurants and not the A/V system.

The Integrated SolutionThe Savant system enables restaurant hostesses to walk around with Apple iPads while more iPads are wall mounted. This allows them to easily control volume levels for audio zones and media sources for viewing.

One-touch Restaurant Open and CloseAt the time of restaurant open and close, staff prepares the space with the touch of a single button. Preset volume levels for specific audio zones as well as video configurations are activated/deactivated.

Control Options Based Upon UserThe Twin Peaks user interface is formatted to match the floor plan of the restaurant for simplified staff navigation. Programming capabilities offer two control modes which are secure by way of password access; Hostess and Management. Each mode allows for a tiered level of A/V control.

• Hostess Mode - allows user to change and “copy and paste” channels from any TV on the floor plan to any another TV (or multiple TV’s) making viewing adjustments very quickly without the involvement of a manager. The hostess also has source control of an entire zone of the restaurant.

• Management Mode - provides a preview of what’s playing on each video source (DirecTV® receivers, Blu-ray® player and Twin Peaks TV) and allows control of each source component and what each TV displaying. Managers also have control of the audio source and volume playing in each zone of the restaurant. For example: music can play in the dining area while the audio from a game is playing in “The Man Cave”.

Project Application Sample

One-touch Restaurant Open and CloseWhen the restaurant opens or closes, the staff prepares the space with the touch of one button. Preset volume levels for specific audio zones and video configurations are activated/deactivated at precise configurations.

Preset Programming Preset options were created for simplified setting up of the restaurant. Open and close presets are the most accessed by staff. Open turns on all TV’s and audio zones and sets each TV/DirecTV receiver to their default channels, and set’s each audio zone to its default audio source and volume level. The close preset turns all A/V gear off as well as adjusts lighting and activates the alarm system.

Up to 5 user presets can be setup easily by each user. Presets allow for configuration of TV channels, audio, volume and even lighting scenes and level for activation at a later time such as for a noted special event.

Area and Zone Control Twin Peaks Hostesses can take an entire area of the restaurant and run a specific game, fight or event.

Impressive Control with Custom InterfaceSeamless control of audio, video, lighting and climate by way of custom user interface. Simplify user control options by defining user modes. Easily highlight or limit visual functions.
