History

18561856 – The Lovere plant is officially established

19081908 – The first railway wheel is produced

19301930 – The company is taken over by ILVA

19871987 – The Lovere Plant evolves into a separate company

under the name of Lovere Sidermeccanica

19901990 – Lovere Sidermeccanica is acquired by Lucchini Group

20002000 – Lucchini UK and Lucchini Sweden are acquired from AD Tranz

20022002 – Lucchini Poland is established

20052005 – Severstal Group joins the Lucchini Group as the majority shareholder

20072007 – Lucchini Family buys back complete control of the Company

20072007 – The new rolling mill investment is launched and the JV in China is established

20082008 – The company changes name into “Lucchini RS”

20102010 – The Joint Venture Lucchini India is established
