C-BAND TRANSCEIVERS MODEL NUMBERING The C-Band transceiver ordering code system is designed to provide unambiguous identification of transceiver variants and options. The C-Band transceiver options and variants include: SSPA RF output power: 20 W, 40 W, 60 W or 120 W

SSPA RF Output Connector: N-type coaxial or WR137 waveguide

RF Frequency Band: Tx: 5.850—6.425 GHz; Rx: 3.625—4.200 GHz or

Converter IF bandwidth: Narrow (40 MHz) or Wide (80 MHz)

Converter synthesiser: Single or Dual (Single synthesiser obsoleted March 2010)

Power supply: 48 VDC nominal or AC mains

CE certification: CE certified or not certified

The ordering code format is shown on page below and comprises the base code plus groups of option letters to show the particular transceiver configuration and options fitted. The base code number is an initial group of digits which specify the basic transceiver version and the SSPA RF output power rating. The second character specifies the SSPA RF output connector option, the third group specifies the Converter options, and the fourth group specifies the power supply option. Finally, a fifth character group is appended to indicate CE certification. Not all possible combinations of transceiver options are available. To assist with ordering, the transceiver versions that are available are shown in the tables on pages 5 and 6. Note that the orderin e not marked on the individual transceiver modules because they sceiver rather than the transceiver modules.

TRANSCEIVER REDUNDANCY SWITCHING SYSTEMS MODEL NUMBERING The transceiver redundancy switching systems ordering code format is designed to provide unambiguous identification of the various redundancy systems available.

equency band: C-Band or Ku-Band SSPA RF output connector: N-type coaxial (C-Band only) or Waveguide (C-Band and Ku-Band)

RF output power: Segregated by SSPA mechanical differences

(medium or high power) The transceiver redundancy system model number format is shown below. The model number comprises the base model number plus groups of option letters/numbers to specify the particular configuration. The first group of characters specifies the fundamental frequency band of the system and the second group specifies the SSPA RF output connector option. The last group specifies the transceiver power range as the medium and have SSPA mechanical differences.
